A good early start for money is to take your army from the first raid and take a bandit camp right away and use that money to hire mercenaries to take other bandit camps. This way you have money and influence coming in steady and all your villagers are working hard at home. Just a suggestion that works well.
Your bottleneck is the Oxen. You only have one but its needed to move all logs for building etc.. Upgrade your hitching post / stable and buy in new ox.
Drongo.. One Proud Bavarian just dropped a video yesterday showing how you can create a fortified manor! It’s a fun exploit until the real Castle Planner is up and running.
You can technically pause all buildings in the top right of their respective windows. Or you can unassign the families. Although it would be nice to be able to stop all import for example.
You should try and attack the bandit camps. You get like 3-4 hundred regional wealth from their camps. Also archers are op against bandits or non armoured units.
the whole trading thing should work like real life, if you buy something and the value goes up, you make a profit. if it stays the same, you get your money back, if the value goes down, you lose money.
It's almost unwatchable. Aussie, please lay off the blow and chill a bit. I do love your content but my God dude slow down. You also miss more than you should.
@ProtagonistOfficial I like it too. But not for this. This is different. It's brand new and mostly a city builder vs ai. A third of each vid is him in rambling bewilderment over something he did just minutes ago. It's only funny the first few times. The manic thing doesn't mesh well with big chunks of the audience just trying to get a feel and learn core mechanics of the game. It works great when he's casting pro matches or playing his own in AoE. Besides, he's talked about this before, I'm agreeing with him.
@@nickdurham8769 Like I said, completely disgaree. I love the energy. This series has been getting a great reception, and judging from the comments, it doesn't seem like there is a large amount of people who dislike this style of commentary .
You need more oxen to transport the logs faster so that construction projects don't wait on logs forever.
Yes, this is it exactly, needs to be done even sooner!!!
this guy logistics

The music in this game is so good. I can't wait for the release.

Raiding seemed to pick up after the new bandit camp moved in. Taking them out should be quick and well worth it, and gives some money too.
Phew, nearly went back to work! A fortuitous youtube refresh and here we go!
Hah!
Love the style of commentary and gameplay you bring to this game.
This week I’ve been checking daily for the next instalment! 😅
And just like that, I became a BIG fan. When I meet You Drongo I can finally honestly say that. Love them Manor Lords, keep it up man

On hardcore manorial warfare and society I strongly recommend Schwerpunkt's videos series
hey drongo! One approach to pause ongoing trades may be to unassign the workers
Ooo man got me watching this! I thought let's have a look for a moment what's this all about then 2h later.... Still here 😅

Do mercenaries have a one time cost of a recurring cost?
only 68 people but arms trade is already huge :P
Trade should be essential imo. I like the system honestly
Is the demo available for download ?
You need to sell clay tiles the return on investment is crazy
Be carefull with your hunt. It's getting low
trade is op xD
bruh they need to fix the thieves stealing your supplies. must be annyoing asl
you have to raid the bandit camps, with his 36 polarms it would be eassy + get a lot of money
Hey Drongo! Can you post more AOE4 videos and eagerly waiting for new season of Outback Octagon!!
Has anyone heard the soundtrack yet? All the videos i watch fail to comment on the soundtrack, or let it play over their talking... Is it any good?

Completely disagree. High energy Drongo is what many of us love about his commentary
