Hi Molton. Do you think that Lowenthal Sicilian is more aggressive than Dragon Sicilian or the vice versa. Which one of these two do you recommend for beginners and intermediates? Thanks
thanks so much for all your videos,i would like to ask about this opening,what can we play after 1.e4 c5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.d4 cxd4 4.Nd4 e5 5.Nb5 a6 6.Nd6+ Bxd6 7.Qxd6 Qf6 8.Qd2 Qg6 9.Nc3 d6 and white plays f4 or b3?ti looks helpless because after exf4then plays Nd5 .Maybe i am wrong,i am low rated player,about 2100.Thanks anyway very much
You can still go exd4 and after Nd5 go Rb8. Throwing in Nc7+ there is actually not that good for White I think since after Kd7 he has to play Nd5 and you have Qxe4 and its actually okay for Black. However, if White doesn't do that and just plays Bd3 then after Nge7 0-0 and 0-0 he is probably a bit better but it might still be playable at lower levels. Otherwise if you really dislike it might have to go for different option on move 9 or Qe7 line instead on move 7.
Your repertoire videos are extremely helpful and are explained wonderfully, definitely keep making more! 🙂
Thank you! Will do!
As a sicilian player this is very instructive and fun to watch, thanks for sharing bro

@@MoltonChess thanks alot for your reply,i will try some other ideas anyway like you said.❤
Why does the description call it "Four Knight's Sicilian" ?
From previous video, thanks updated that
Interesting video, but your study on Lichess is private. Viewers cannot access it.
Thanks I updated that
It never has been the weakness at d5 that bothered me. It is the weak pawn at d6.
Yep you are correct, since you give up the dark squared Bishop the d6 square naturally becomes a bit weaker

Why would white defend with Nc3? Bg5 is much better, and then good luck attacking the center.
