- The 1959 publication of photographer Robert Frank’s "The Americans" was one of the milestones of 20th-century art. Now, an exhibit at Stanford provides new insight into this seminal work, offering a look at rarely-seen images made by Frank during the time he was shooting "The Americans" but not included in the book. The pic of an older woman, two children, and two African Americans oo a bus staring out the window hit me like a brick as I saw it for the first time on a large monitor at work. Especially in light of what Trump is doing to families and their children. The looks on the two kids faces nailed me...
Great photographer
I am also a photographer! It is hard today to make photos about people. You can get problems nowadays. Because far away not all people today want to be photographed.
5.47. Photos while you wait. Brilliant mind. Shameful his artwork has been hidden behind closed doors.
RIP
Why would he want to rest in peace? Did he live a life of war?
Great pics but eggleston is probably better
Rubbish
Similar but different
Peanut butter is great, but mayonnaise is probably better.
How could say one artist is better than the other.. Doesn't make any sense..
Lots of idiots who understand so little.
