Looks great and great content! I’ve been trying to locate a video you posted a while back concerning your Maryville trailer. It gave an overview and the company that manufactures them. Could you link me to that video and let me know the company name, please? Great videos!
@@wishwellfarms thank you so much! I’m a first generation produce farmer in Arkansas! You have given me so much information and motivation to keep going! Thank you!
Normally, just once which is what we prefer, when it’s the right maturity for picking the whole patch is ready and we just drive over as we pick, the only time we would pick twice if it’s not quite ripe everywhere and we are hurting for corn and we will skim a patch and just pick the biggest ripest ears and come back and pick it again a couple days later.
Why don't you get some baskets like the veggie boys. You have to handle those tomatoes so many times. Much more work that you don't have to do. Your backs must be so sore!
I’m thinking he’s done this for 20 years so this is not his first rodeo. This is what works for him just like on any farm people will tell you different things work for different people. I’ve seen over and over on the farm. Thank you have a great evening
Normally we have our boxes with us and we direct pack right from plant to box to farmers market, doesn’t get any more efficient than that. Veggie boys still have to unload those tomatoes which is another step of handling we don’t have.
@@wishwellfarms Thank you from disabled dude who loves this. We will be in field corn two weeks. Big time farmers have started 10 to 12,000 acre farmers
I've addressed this numerous times already in past video comments, she will never be on camera...not her thing. She keeps plenty buys doing other farm related things behind the scenes.
@@lesliekirkland4603 no problem. Far from over though: broccoli and cauliflower harvest, field clean up, green house plant removal, tillage, grain farming on 1,300 acres.

How big is your farm sir?
65 acres vegetables, 400 acres field corn and 900 soybeans
How many picks do you get off your corn

Stake and tie your tomatoes. That ends the starburst cracks.
well, this was the first time in 25 years I let a row sprawl on the ground

You need more help!
All your work is doubled then you have to film.
feels like it sometimes, not to mention the editing, which even takes longer, then a title and thumbnail...its like I started a second career!
