Super solid advice and im excited to see what this new year will have in store for the both of us! its going to be a really creative year happening
Most definitely bro!!! 🥂 to a prosperous 2024!
great channel. Simple message. Keep rockin'. It's all about the plan and the prep.
100%!! Thanks for tuning in!
I still love to shoot with Canon eos rebel t7. It is not the gears but a creative person who knows what and how to utilize the gears.
Indeed!! There’s still people that shoot with film! Through the grain and images that might not be razor sharp they still produce great work! Rather it be a T7 or a R5C it’s still going to boil down to how you capture. Thanks for tuning in!
Glad I came across this video! One of the best, straightforward videos on shooting on TH-cam! Gave me some things to work on.
Appreciate that!! I don’t like videos that take forever to get into what they’re really trying to talk about so I try to go with a straightforward approach. Thanks for the watch!
I really like this video! Everything is important, and all in the details.
Appreciate that!! Thanks for taking the time to watch.

Amen to all of this.

my last 2 shoots I've pulled out my barely functional, 15 year old, 12MP Nikon D700.. love the images more than my Z6II.. Think I'm going to jump on the used market and find myself another one of these gems.
Ay the ends justify the means! I still have my Canon 5D mark ii that’s more than capable of getting the job done.
That was one of the best Cameras I owned. The colors were unbeatable even in 2024!
@@souljah9e yeah canon has the color game LOCKED! Just got a R5c a couple weeks ago. Had a shoot with it today and the colors especially skin are CRAZYYYY!
Yes and no. If you do know how to shoot and compose a great lens can make or break your career. That said, get your samples and when you get a gig rent the gear you need and bill it to the client. Please GOD get an insurance certification on file with the rental house in case of an accident. Your relationship with the local rental house is crucial.
Yes the insurance is definitely mandatory!! 💯
@@taypricephotography That and a rental cert is key if you wanna go into advertising.
first time viewer, I like your logo and these are good tips. I love the real life example photos from a shoot you did as well
Definitely appreciate the feedback! Thanks for the watch!
I have an old Panasonic GH3, was wondering if I should get something else.
That would depend on if you feel like it’s hindering your progress or making you miss out on any business. If it’s still getting the job done for you I’d say see if there’s another area you can use those funds to build out any other areas of your business/kit that might need it.
Are reflectors a good thing to use when you have this much sun around?
Absolutely or even using a white bounce. Like some of those 3-in-1’s that have the white, black, and silver.
You a real one bro the information you dropped was facts keep up the work hopefully I can run into you at wppi
All love bro!! Trying to spread the knowledge!! And most def! I’m hosting a workshop that week!
Real solid facts bro,,,,,
Appreciate that!! 🤝🏾✊🏾 thanks for tuning in.
Pretty good stuff thanks for sharing.
As for the gear I would agree and disagree
If you are just starting out, if you are a hobbyist then gear somewhat does not matter.
If clients are paying you to be infront of your camera gear absolutely matters.
I started out on the cheap back in the day, had lenses lock up back in the film days and had flashes over heat and freeze up so with that I get the best gear than I can afford.
Just my opinion
Definitely appreciate the perspective (side note: I hate when people can’t express an opposing opinion without sounding angry lol) but yeah I would agree from that position as well. If your equipment is hindering your performance then your gear absolutely does matter.
No reason to have sunglasses on. Can’t take seriously.
lol petty. They are prescription. Move along.
As an artistic photographer, I keep saying this until I'm blue in the face!!! But it seems no one listens 😒😒
Yeah for me the ends justify the means. Pricey gear doesn’t make a good photographer and cheap gear doesn’t make a bad photographer.
