This is the best channel for piano technique I've found so far. Clear, didactic, the video production is at a pro level. A great amount of useful info presented in the best way. Thanks so, so much!

I have been using the exact same metronome - now I'll use it correctly.

I’ve been taking viola for a few years now, and this advice is fantastic for strings as well, of course. Thanks for the video. And - great to see you! :-D

Likely due to my inexperience, but I seem to panic when I use it.
I am trying to increase the speed of my scales using the metronome. Does this make sense?
    Thanks!

Absolutely: using the metronome is a great way to increase speed in scales. If you're panicking, are you possibly trying to play too fast too soon?

    Unmusically? Please define. Musicality too.

In short, it's about the relationship between notes. Unmusically= playing individual notes that have no relation to other notes. Musicality = playing notes relationally to each other, making larger shapes that have intuitive meaning.
