This is the best channel for piano technique I've found so far. Clear, didactic, the video production is at a pro level. A great amount of useful info presented in the best way. Thanks so, so much!
I’ve been taking viola for a few years now, and this advice is fantastic for strings as well, of course. Thanks for the video. And - great to see you! :-D
Likely due to my inexperience, but I seem to panic when I use it. I am trying to increase the speed of my scales using the metronome. Does this make sense? Thanks!
In short, it's about the relationship between notes. Unmusically= playing individual notes that have no relation to other notes. Musicality = playing notes relationally to each other, making larger shapes that have intuitive meaning.

Absolutely: using the metronome is a great way to increase speed in scales. If you're panicking, are you possibly trying to play too fast too soon?
Unmusically? Please define. Musicality too.
