I tried this recipe ...it turned out so yummy.....if you are facing any problem while frying the balls just add 2 tablespoon of maida in the milk while cooking...it's yummy 😋

I tried this recipe, but my gulab jamun came out too dense - it was very hard inside. However the outside was fine. Any suggestions on how to make the inside soft as well?

For all those who said the jamuns were hard after trying this.
I would like to tell you'll I tried it at home today and it's perfect
measurements which I took:
1/2 cup rava
1 1/2 cup of milk
1 cup of sugar for sugar syrup(don't make the syrup too thick I added 1 cup of water)
2 spoons of ghee
try this method the gulab jamuns will be very soft
you need to knead the dough really soft to get perfect gulab jamuns
no milk powder??

May be your sugar syrup was too thick that why it didnt went inside the gulab jamun and it became hard from inside

I made it but it tasted like halwa dipped in sugar syrup. This is nothing as compared to the actual gulab jamun.
