I always feel weak early without bone plating and having PTA as keystone. I get that Fleet makes you space easier mid to late game, but it makes me underwhelmed not being able to use Akshan's level 1-3 trades to dictate the whole laning phase's tempo.

Against ranged you should basically always take fleet, especially vs orianna

@@zackmendes6959 If I were someone who doesn't play Akshan, I would've believed that. But that's the most misleading advice you can give to someone. Ranged mages w/ weak early that come up to you to poke are the most vulnerable vs Akshan w/ PTA pre-6. It's melees like yasuo, irelia, qiyana that you should *consider* Fleet to space better. And it's *consider* not *always* as this is dependent on how confident/knowledgeable you are about the matchup.

It's something very situational, but I think Fleet is only good against champions that can run you down early levels, while Pta is just the overral better option

I hope you stick to Akshan, learning how to use his E properly is insanely fun when you have it down. Only issue is in mid theres barely anything to swing from.
And you saying his wave clear at level 9 is broken, with old noonquiver level 7 Akshan could 1 hit a wave with Q. Used to be even more broken 😭
