During this performance the drummer Lars cut his finger on the snare and just kept drumming.. his drum kit looked like a scene out of Dexter😂🥁🩸 They played the Freddie Mercury tribute show in 92 and it was the most wholesome heartbreaking, beautiful, badass performance ever😂
The aggressive behavior of the Russian military during the Metallica concert in Moscow on September 28, 1991, was primarily due to the chaotic and transitional period in Russia's history. This concert, part of the "Monsters of Rock" festival, attracted about 1.6 million people, making it the largest rock concert in the history of both the USSR and the Russian Federation. The concert took place shortly after the failed August Putsch, a coup attempt against Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev. The Russian government was still trying to stabilize the country and maintain order. The massive crowd and the excitement surrounding the event led to violent clashes between the public, the police, and the military, which was called in from neighbouring areas to help control the situation. It was a time of great political and social upheaval, and the authorities were not accustomed to hosting such large-scale rock concert and also not knowing that the reaction by the fans was just them enjoying the moment and music, they were not used to the way Metalheads enjoyed metal. The combination of these factors contributed to the aggressive response from the military. "Harvester of Sorrow" lyrics tell the story of a man who has been deeply traumatized by his past experiences, likely involving serious child abuse. This trauma leads him to a life filled with anger, misery, and substance abuse. The song portrays his descent into violence and how he ends up perpetuating the cycle of abuse, possibly even committing infanticide.
@@markherrick2180 Joke's on you, 'cause the police in the USSR would kill anyone, no matter their race. And police in the US statistically don't kill more blacks than whites BTW.
