Robin has always been one of those guys who’s so well put together-apart from being a great cricketer, he’s someone who exudes a genuinely positive outlook on life. But as we know, you never truly understand what someone might be going through in their personal life. That’s why it’s always a pleasure listening to Robin he’s so articulate, and he has this unique ability to craft emotions and present them so effortlessly. You can always count on him to make sense, to share thoughtful insights. Kudos to you, Robby! You’ve done an incredible job. I’ve followed your journey from 2007, during your time with KKR, to now as a commentator and cricket expert. Watching your transformation over the years has been nothing short of inspiring. Listening to you today felt so wholesome-thank you, maacha!
Great to see Robin sir speak about this taboo in our society of not taking depression serious and nice to see Cyrus sir allow him to speak without interrupting😅❤. Kudos to both of them.
Robbie ur a classic player! And an integral part of Team India! Was surprised to hear about your growing up years but yet u have come a long way after facing challenges! Kudos..tc have a good life
I am amazed by Cyrus' hold on cricket.. Knows minute details, and players names. To bring up Taijul Islam as a reference in a LIVE conversation requires uber-awareness and passion for the game
Five minutes into this and I want a Part 2. Robin is one of the most classy players. Still remember his debut against England scoring 80 odd. Cyrus makes some valid points about playing spin and you can see the excitement coz its Cricket. But to second what Robin says, I'm also from Bangalore and settled now in Dubai for years, there is no place like Dubai. We want a Part 2 Cyrus, loved this podcast.
Great talk about mental health by Robin! Heartening to listen to a top performer speaking about the issues less spoken!- More Kudos to Cyrus who listened patiently 🤣
9:54 Chinese didn’t lose their history coz they use to write it down (printing was invented in China), we Indians on contrary didn’t record as much and whatever we recorded was mostly forgotten (eg Bhrami script). Other people have written about us and also noted that we Indians indulged in myth telling rather than history. Also Robin is completely off about the reason Nalanda was burnt, it was at the hands of Muhammad Bakhityar a general of Khilji slaves of Sultan Muhammad of Ghor and he burnt it coz the great monestry didn’t have a copy of Quran.
Talks like he is Virat. All this guy did was be a part of a team that has Yuvraj, Sreesanth and Raina that did the fight. Robin Utappa Trying to claim credit now.
This traffic issue is hugely blown over and hyped up by media and now celebs r also doing it for whatever reasons. It’s bad in certain areas surely but that’s bcoz of a variety of reasons. 1. Fastest growing city in the most populous nation on earth is definite to have overcrowded areas and congestion. 2. Don’t we see huge jams in NCR and Mumbai ? So why this narrative and fixation on Bengaluru alone? 3. The newer areas are certainly the worst regions bcoz of way too much migrant population and most importantly Bengaluru has had the largest share of 2 wheelers but now even worse it has overtaken NCR as the city with highest 4 wheeler registrations too. 4. Now imagine all this in a city less than half the size of NCR and Mumbai. It takes common sense to understand it’s not a problem any govt (irrespective of party) can solve easily. So I request Cyrus to think logically before moaning about traffic in Bengaluru. We don’t have railways like Mumbai and inspite of all these problems most people and companies still don’t want to go out of Bengaluru. Finally to robin, it doesn’t matter with people like you bcoz ur not a localite anyways. So how would you understand the ground reality of these changes. You just say something bcoz of ur celebrity status. You want all the pros but have a no responsibility to share for cons. Says a lot about people like you.
What nonsense is he talking about the loss of indigenous and non-western knowledge systems! As a historian of science, I am appalled by how confidently he is just faffing about stuff he has no idea about.
After a long time, finally cyrus got a guest with whom he can talk at length about cricket.

Cyrus scraping bottom of barrel 4 people to have on his show!! Robin did bugger all but trying to portray himself as some gr8 cricketer
#robinuthappa you're caught with the wrong guy...

Cyrus sometimes you should just shut up and listen.
Cyrus is just not letting him talk. So annoying
Nri uncle preaching us.. stick to your roots beta, meanwhile I stay in Dubai !
