First off, the editing is fire. Secondly, while I understand your point that sometimes these things can be very glaring from the get-go, the sad reality is that most times, it’s not always that black and white. Men won’t straight up tell you that they wouldn’t be supportive with the kids when they eventually come to allow you the opportunity to thrive in dualities as a woman. And that’s how I assume these women who aspire to be more than mothers end up becoming just that. And this is the one that terrifies me. Moral of the story, don’t get married, just be a cat mum , lol.
Thank youuuu 🥹❤️ Yes, truly, people do switch up after marriage, and it's scary. Listen being a cat mum doesn't sound so bad at all, idk why men use it as an insult, like at least cat won't give me trauma 😭😭😭😭
She raises an interesting point. And while there are a lot of men who aren't as supportive as Ngozi's husband, I'm quite concerned about how some people infer figures to things which really have no well researched basis, let alone a true, defined statistics. I suppose it must have been a hyperbolic statement so as to really paint a picture of the gravity of the situauton. But still, quoting figures in this manner-in this case, 98%- is somewhat unwarranted since it's not fully reliably justified. Notwithstanding, great content. Just like you, and Ngozi, I look forward to seeing more women in this part of the country attaining marvelous heights in their career. Regards!
The funny thing is that even statistics from proper research are not 100% reliable because there are nuances that could be missed in the process. Yet people casually pull out numbers and expect us to believe them. I would say it's a social media culture. A lot of things are exaggerated on social media. And I am beyond flattered by your kind words🥹🥹 thank you 🌸

But well said, as usual,. I personally believe that if not for the cultural aspects of marriage in Nigeria, a significant amount of our parents and grandparents marriages would have ended in divorce but they (the women) keep it together because "what would people say". TLDR- Protect yourself, Marry well, if he's moving mad, run away and save yourself. TTLDR - your dreams are valid.
