Another thing brother sometimes the Lord just wants us to put our pride aside and ask for help. I have struggled with this in my own life in starting my own farm operation. I so happy for you and the answers prayers I don’t know you from Adam but hope I can make it to South Georgia after the season and meet ya enjoy your attitude and out look.
It takes a lot more work but if you get out there and let people know & are willing to provide perks like transportation or free lunch or breakfast the workers are there with effort. We once ran 2 - 24 man crews for hand labour, one was locals with High School students & local minorities. We had to run vans to town to pick them up & kick in inexpensive free lunches & breakfast but they were excellent workers. We would normally keep a Labour Contractor or two busy with H2A workers, a lot of red tape & the need to verify the Contractors were licensed & insured, it’s all part of the job. Frustrating working with 2 separate regulation systems with local labour & H2A workers. Unfortunately some H2A workers now have become so entitled with Gov handouts that you have to be careful with who you bring to the field. Glad you were able to work out you labour issue. I was about to drive down there for a week & put together a nice local crew for you. Would have enjoyed visiting Southern Ga & Al area again. Next to Carolina it’s close the 2nd closest to Gods Country! 😂 Thanks for the Video & Positive outcome. 👍👋
I didn't have the time this year to set up my drip tape, it sure does make it easier that's for sure. I need me alot of those goof plugs to keep in my pocket everyday to fix my goofs. Lol Take care brother great info.

There are pick your own strawberry farms so why not peas! We have big farms up here where you can pick all your own vegetables. It's fun.
Pick your own purple hulls was common in South Carolina in the 70s. Died out around here by the 90s though.
