  • I took a chance on $150 rearsets for my 2017 z900 from Amazon shipped direct from. ARASHI and they are pretty good! I'm not racing or hitting the track but wanted a more sport feel and adjustability so this inexpensive option is great. The fit and finish was pretty nice. Only negative was the two month wait for delivery from China!

    Hey thanks for posting this it helped me with my install. I have a z900rs and installed some rearsets from a brand called sniper I got from Japan-webike. But the install was basically the same. Installing the side with the rear brake is little trickier than the side with the shifter.

    I just got some of the same rearsets for my 09 Ninja 250R, got the Gold because of the repaint. Super good quality for Chinese CNC, only complaint is they didn’t come with instructions.

    Ordering black and red Arashis for my 21' MT-07, have a black with red accessory accent theme going and the Arashis fit the bill, everyone raves about the surprising quality, only tip they give is, yes use loctite. Can't wait! Haha

    Nice work 🎊 keeping her up and maintained ..! How much adjusting did it take after you had them mounted up after the first ride …? And now they are working flawlessly..??? And are you still scraping the pavement at all ..??? Thx for sharing ✊✊✊⚙️🛠️😋👍

    Hi friend, nice video .. I want to buy it on z900 too. How satisfied are you? I see that you also have an exhaust from China, I'm also thinking about it, but I have gutters without a catalytic converter, so I'm afraid it won't make too much noise. How is the material at the exhaust not a problem with that? Thank you Pavel, good luck in the new year ..

    Hey man great video! I just installed the Arashi rearsets on my Z900 '18.
    Is there a spring for the break lever as well or is there just one for the break light switch?

    • @crawfordmediacompany1249
      @crawfordmediacompany1249  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It didnt come with a return spring for the brake lever... i will be adding one because sometimes if you lightly touch the pedal the lever stays down just enough to keep the brake light illuminates.

    Nice rear sets! Is it possible to lower the footpeg height from stock with these?

    Hi thanks for the video. Do you still ride that bike? Any issues with the rearsets? I have 2023 z900 and want to adjust my foot position but can't find too much about it and saw your video. Do you think Arashi brand is ok?

    Can these be adjusted forward and lower compare to the original rearsets, for a taller person?

    Hey my man, know this is an old video but how are the rearsets holding up? Also, did they make you feel more cramped on the bike or less cramped? Does the positioning slam your nuts into the gas tank? And did they solve the issue with the 900 of the brake lever being way too high?

    • @crawfordmediacompany1249
      @crawfordmediacompany1249  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      They are great. I have a few thousand miles on them now. I wouldnt say I feel cramped now but more sporty. No nut slamming. They definitely lower the brake lever compared to stock.

    Hey, great video and thanks a ton for sharing. I'm considering picking these up because I also want a higher, more rearward peg setup like a sportbike. In your opinion, did these do the trick for you with respect to that?

    Are lower bars or clipons next?

    • @crawfordmediacompany1249
      @crawfordmediacompany1249  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Great question haha I actually Installed bars with 1” drop and 1” push forward.

      @@crawfordmediacompany1249 Coming from sport bikes too, doing the same thing as you, trying to make my Z900RS more like my past rockets. Doing the clip-ons first then rear sets if needed.
      Wish someone (Japan) would make a cafe racer ready to go with superbike power and handling 150+H/P low bars, rear sets. At least with the standards like your Z900 and the 2021 CB1000R you can get closer to superbike performance out of the box.
      Thanks for the video, very to the point and helpful.
      I’ll check for some Chinese made rear sets like yours for my bike but so far have only found $600 Japanese made ones available
