    After posting this video, I noticed that the trail signs and mountains in the distance looked much clearer on the Hero7 (ski pole) footage than on that of the Hero8 (helmet). So I contacted GoPro Tech support, they told me to do a factory reset of the Hero8, and I intend to shoot another "early season conditions" video soon to test it out again.

    The camera stabilization is amazing for a helmet mounted GoPro. It was neat to see your shadow on the bumps and then how much smoother the camera portrayed everything.

      @Kaleb - Thank for the feedback. I may shoot another "early season conditions" video tomorrow and hope that the Hero8 footage will be clearer after doing a factory reset of it.

    Hey Ted, I'll be staying in downtown and am curious about how to get all the way down 4 O'clock to town. Would love to see a video of that from you!

      I'll put it on the to-do list. I have Four O'Clock to Crosscut in the play-lists. From there, going to town you just want to make sure that you are aware of the fork in the trail. One way goes to the gondola & Mountain Thunder Lodge, the other to across the street from River Mountain Lodge. It is hard to miss this fork, and you just want to know ahead of time which way you want to go.

    Hello! I am visiting breck for 3 days starting on the 20th. Do you think I'll be able to enjoy any terrain above tree level at that point in the year? Thanks for the video!

      I hope so! I'd like to get in some of that terrain myself before I start teaching for the holidays.

      @James - Crescendo, I have at least one video of it in the play-lists.

    Hi Ted, what percentage of terrain will be open approx at the beginning of January? Ill be heading there! As of now there are 800+ acres and I was curious on how much will be open in a month.

      @Kasym - There is really no way to know. It just depends on natural snowfall. But the season is off to a decent start so far!

    Hey Ted, what ski setup are you running this year?

    • @BreckSnowPro
      @BreckSnowPro  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Chris - I bought new Rossignol E88s last year that I barely used, so I doubt I'll get another ski this year. For the early season videos and teaching all but expert level lessons, I'll be using E88s from a year or so before last year.
