Ted for all your videos. Visited from the North East first wk of march 2022. We stayed base of Peak 7. 8 days non stop was not enough. Your you tube content was very helpful navigating the peaks. My wife Kathy and I have reservations to return next year. Kathy keeps to the Blue Squares. She loves peak 7. I got several runs on Peak 6. Hit most of that. Also a lot on the t-bar. And Horseshoe Bowl. That goat trail across the top of George’s thumb is eye opening. So much more for me to take in. So thanks again for all the vids.
⛷❤️ sweet vid! I got married on the saddle near Horseshoe Bowl…my husband and I are coming out to ski Breck in December and March. Spent 6 years in Germany skiing the Alps. I like the Rockies the best. This will be our first time skiing the Rockies since returning from Germany…..soooooooo totally STOKED…. Gonna be a long hot summer suffering ski fever here in San Antonio…….😉
It's been so long, super excited to see you back! Whenever they open, I'd love to see you try Zoot and Wacky's Chute (Lake Chutes), E.S.P (Six Senses), and Needle's Eye! Edit: I remember Volunteer to Shock being my favorite groomed line on Peak 9! Love those runs!
Hi Ted! Yesterday, I made the transition from beginner to intermediate by testing myself on Red Rover or Little Harry. Thanks to you, I knew what slope would test me for intermediate! My very first intermediate run was Four O’ Clock. I got there by taking the Peak 8 SuperConnect. Thanks to you, I knew what some easy blues were! After that, I went back to Peak 9 through Sawmill. I then did 3/4 of Cashier then cut over to Country Boy. You deserve all of the credit! You helped me to know how to test myself and what the easiest blues are! I am now at the end of my ski trip. I hope to come back on Spring Break!
Great to see you back, Ted. We just left Breck a few days ago and it was a much better trip thanks to your thorough collection of videos. We had a blast!
Ted, welcome back and thanks for the investment of your time. Back boarding Breck for the first time in 19 years and your vids have helped me get a lay of the land from my couch. It would be great to see some of the doubles served by E-Chair. Keep it up and thanks!
Its become a tradition to watch these videos before i come out to breck. We need more! Also little request for more bowl videos. Yours tend to be the best quality
Welcome back! You got the 20mins with the beautiful footage of Breck! Missed you and always love your posts. Can’t wait to get back to Breckinridge some day!
Very nice! Love your videos! My wife and I are heading up to Breckenridge today for a 3 day trip. Staying at the base of Peak 7 at The Crystal Peak Lodge. So I’ll be spending a lot of time on peaks 6&7. Love it over there!
No way! Was watching your videos for the first time this week, prepping myself for my first ski trip in six years (used to ski every year), and this was my FIRST DAY IN SIX YEARS, and it's your first day posting a video in a long time. Very cool!
Dude I am so glad you're back!! I discovered you when i went to Breck for the first time in 2020, going again in 3 weeks!! i loved your videos!! Thanks for coming back!!
You're back, great. Wow, miss those amazing mountains, looked like a beautiful day with good snow too. (East coaster here.) I didn't realize I could adjust the video quality on my end, and when I did bump it up, it looked SO much better. 1440 worked for me. Even with very fast internet (100mbps) when I had it on 2160/4k it would pause. Would love for you to get a buddy to film you on some of these runs. You seem to glide effortlessly over even really difficult terrain. Would really like to see you skiing. (hint)
I watched you before I went to Breck for my first time in early 2020. Super helpful, thanks dude! Bought me a new set of skis this year, can't wait for Breck next year.
Welcome back, Ted! Oh, this is so exciting, and it’s absolutely made my day! We’ll be in Breck this February/March. It’s a better place with you and your videos a part of it! WELCOME BACK!!!!
We're so glad to have you back, Ted! You're a celebrity in our house. The new video quality was incredible and we loved the content. Thanks to your videos, my family was able to have 3 amazing trips to Breck in the last year and we're looking forward to our 4th trip in February. My husband and I are hoping to make it up to the Horseshoe Bowl next month (if we can get our daughters' private lesson confirmed) having never been able to get up there before, what do you think the easiest line down would be? We're both expert skiers-I just tend to be more cautious than my husband! Thanks again, Ted!!
Great to have you back Ted! Hitting Breck next weekend with a few of my buddies and would love to see some of the current Peak 8 runs/conditions. Cant wait for those views. Keep up the great vids my man!
Hi Ted! Glad t see you on here again! Must be of the same mind; I did this EXACT combination of runs on January 6, 2022! I would love to schedule a lesson; I'd call myself intermediate but could improve my skills. The Breck website seems to be broken? I hit the button and nothing happens.
Great to have you back! I like that you mentioned the date. Might be helpful to start each video with the date, and a 10 second snow/weather report to give some more context. Thanks for doing these!
Thanks! I'm trying... I've got two videos mostly edited, and a bunch I have not started editing yet. Skiing around while talking to myself is easy. Editing three cameras and an audio recorder together is taking me more time than it should.
I have a Hero7 on a gimbal on my chest and Hero8 on my ski pole. This video was shot using "GoPro" colors and exposure compensation set to "-1" on both. Today, I set the Hero7 colors to "Flat", exposure compensation to "-2", and will work on color correcting it tomorrow. The reason to do this is to get greater dynamic range and pull more details out of the highlights (like bright snow and clouds). If it works, I'll get another one posted soon.
Hello Ted! Im going to Breck the 1st week of february and wanted to ask how are the conditions of the runs right now, has it been snowing or not that much? Thanks!
We could always use more snow, but it is snowing now and conditions were good when I last skied on the 12th. I'd like to post one video a week so that people can see conditions for themselves.
I noticed you didn't start with a plug either for Ted the ski instructor or Ted the real estate guy. Are you Ted the retired skier living the dream now?
Ha...I wish!!!! I'm still selling real estate, and I'll fold some sort of promo about that into future videos. I felt really rusty on this one and didn't want to take too much time out of my ski day shooting retakes. This video was mostly about testing 4k60p and stitching a bunch of runs together in one.
I hope to get a video shot on Pk7 next week. I don't think there are new runs as a part of the new lift and that instead it was just installed to thin out the line at the Independence chair.
Thank you for not showing the best secrets. Let's keep em off those places!. Please never do a video of how to ski breck to avoid crowds and find real snow!
Glad to see you back!
I was just thinking “whatever happened to Ted?” And then I saw this notification. Glad to see your back!
Welcome back, I’d love to see a video on one of the double black runs down E-chair.

Hello!!!!! WELCOME BACK TED! I surely have missed your content! And this video looks better than ever! Glad you’re back! 😊

Good idea! I'm going to ask Joel at OpenSnow.com if I can use screen shots of his website in my videos.
We need more of these vids!!! To see what a Breck master thinks XD
Thanks! I'm trying... I've got two videos mostly edited, and a bunch I have not started editing yet.
Skiing around while talking to myself is easy. Editing three cameras and an audio recorder together is taking me more time than it should.
Great to see you again! The video seems a little grainy and unstable.
Heeeesss back after 2 year of waiting
He's Back

Yes, check the playlists.

Hi Paul! Lake Chutes are part of my plan for this season. I need to get my feet under me and we need more snow first.
@@BreckSnowPro My 11 year old son must have been signed in with my account… we’ll work on his grammar & punctuation! 😂
Thank you for not showing the best secrets. Let's keep em off those places!. Please never do a video of how to ski breck to avoid crowds and find real snow!
Ready for more videos Ted! Great content. At 8:07, did you break the sound barrier?? Lol
Ha! I had to check to see what happened at 8:07... wind gust.
We are coming up from NM, the first full week of February, and are looking forward to our first time at Breck.
