ok not sure why but there was some paranormal orbs flying around at 18:45 now i know jacob isnt too keen on orbs but there was one flying into the box and another flying across the screen but then again it could be dust.
I think it was 1991. I must've been 11. I was having a bad end of the day. We did the train ride as the last thing for the day. The train robbers were doing their thing and I wasn't going to have any of it. They got to me the guy asked, like he asked everyone else, "Ya got any money, kid?" and without missing a beat I looked him right in the eye and said, "I have a headache." And he drew a breath, replied with a sigh just loud enough for me to hear, "Me too, bud, I'm glad this is the last train." He looked really tired. My dad had to asked me what we said to each other, he didn't hear what we were saying.
The Carpetbagger and Bald & Bankrupt couldn't be more different except of all the travel video channels you two are the only ones that make me feel like I'm actually hanging out with ya rather than being begged to be impressed about your experiences. Keep going Jacob (go find Ben and collaborate please).
Carpetbagger is out there on the leading edge at Silver Dollar play spot. All my favorite people from their different specialities are in harmony.with the silver dollar theme and leading edge of thought ! WOW ! IT GETS BETTER ALL THE TIME ! HOLLER!
I love Branson. Silver Dollar City is a spectacular. Fire in the Hole is my favorite. They use to have a river ride so I guess they are upgrading it to the Falls ride you showed behind the wall. That will be cool. This park is stunning at Christmas. I’ve been there in summer and at Thanksgiving with the Christmas decorations. They have a parade at the end of the evening, too. Thanks for sharing.
Hey carpet bagger, I was literally going to go to silver dollar city but they had a deal where if I traded my season pass then I can get the whole season pass next year. hopefully next year I’ll get to meet you there that would be awesome.
that boat where you can shoot water at people looks like a blast! might have to take a vacation now! nice to see things starting to return to "normal"- thanks for getting out there for those who can't ❤️
Once I went on a boat water ride with my mom, but didn't realize we'd get soaked with water. But it was really warm that day so it felt quite nice & was a lot of fun.
I just found your channel. I love it. I'm from Springfield and I loved this video and the wonders of wild life museum video. You really made us look good! Lol
I had the chance to go to this place 4 years ago during a family reunion, but they had themselves a heat wave with 100% humidity, so while I grew up in Louisiana, I hadn't been there in 20 years and my kids are from California so the rest of the family decided an indoor venue would be more merciful. Seeing it this way is nice because it doesn't look like we missed much. My oldest is not very durable. Going with a group like yours would be way more fun, I think. That friend in red is hilarious.
Silver Dollar City was in pigeon forge before Dollywood took over in pigeon forge Tennessee I remember going there as a kid it was fun they had the old action show on the train where the cowboys actually shot the guns I loved it Dollywood's good too!
Holy crap! As someone who's recently gotten super into Bonnie and Clyde, have you been to their hideout there? It's such an interesting part of history.
I grew up going to SDC every year. I’ve spent so much time in Branson. Love that place. Living vicariously through you On this one. Hope you ate some piggy pops and had some homemade cinnamon bread.
FunFact.. back in 1976 They had a very similar Oyster Attraction @ Seawold. You purchased an Oyster, and right in front of you they open it up, and get your pearl if you got one it would be cleaned and shined for you, if I remember correctly they had jewelers right there too,who for a price would set your pearl in a ring or neclace. remember it vividly, because mine had 2 inside, Great day with the folks.. In my mid 50's now.....
Just from that parking lot opening, my first thought was how similar it is to Dollywood. The tram and its station are essentially identical. Sister parks, same ownership, I know.
That looks like a really neat place and it looks like they are doing a reasonable job of keeping people safe.It will probably improve as well. Its too bad some of the rides etc were closed . That box of stuff lost yesterday made me laugh yeah yesterday 1980s . The water cannon boats looked like so much fun. Keep Safe❤Keep Well❤
Love that place. Hope you take time to go to Hutchinson KS and go to the cosmophere where they have just got back the Liberty 7 capsule. Plus go to strata with strata you have to make a reservation, but I think you will like both
Besides Disney World and Dollywood, Silver Dollar City is a wonderful Theme Park. We always have fun going there. Love Branson too. I don't guess there are as many concerts in Bandon since so many proformers have died that use to have their own place there. I still would love to go back some day. Hopefully everything will get to start back up soon.
The show looked like it was doing some cute stuff to work around, so that’s something! As always, please be careful going out and about. We aren’t through this thing yet!
Just writing here because there was a major derailment of the Silver Dollar City Train on Oct 27th, 2022, the very same train you and Adam have ridden recently. As I wrote on Adams page, it should make more people think about theme park maintenance and operation. While it doesn't dissuade me from going, there are certain inherent dangers at theme parks, and we generally take for granted they are safe and fun, and we plunk down our hard-earned dollars based on that feeling. 99.999999999% of the time we safely go on our way to the next ride...
One of the only places I've actually been, albeit only once when I was 11. I really want to go back, but not while most of the stuff is closed and masks are required. Can't have fun if I'm constantly worrying about catching something and missing out on a lot of the attractions.
Do not forget to get a steak, egg hashbrown breakfast while in missouri, kansas, iowa,Idaho and wyoming,it's the best ever,do not forget to add the A1sauce or Heinz 57sauce to your steak, delicious!!! But eat and enjoy have a goodtime!!!
i went there the 1st day they switched from halloween over to christmas, and it was pretty sweet. not very busy, decent weather, lots of cool christmas lights..... and the cave tour is pretty sweet. It seems to be a christian-ish theme park, so thats also nice to see compared to everything else trying to please the world nowadays.
I’m glad you got to eat a beautiful, and delicious meal! I wrote the ingredients down. What was you favorite, or more experiences while being with Boogie?
Carpetbagger have you been to The Ark exhibit? I couldn't find where you did. If you haven't I'd love to see that. I really enjoy your channel! Keep it up, stay safe and I can't wait for your next adventure!
Dude in the air conditioned, empty sitting area has the sweetest job in the park.
Yeah I loved the shot of him just walking down the empty row wiping the pews. What a nice gig.
Totally chill and excellent job at the park for sure
Got some good laughs out of this video . Boogie having a field day with the water cannons was classic
I love you 😍
I love you 💕

it takes real endurance to be a SDC train robber
Basically every summer me and my family go to silver Dollar City and I’ve made so many good memories there and this year we’re bring my best friend
The water canon fights looked like a lot of fun!
The Carpetbagger and Bald & Bankrupt couldn't be more different except of all the travel video channels you two are the only ones that make me feel like I'm actually hanging out with ya rather than being begged to be impressed about your experiences. I feel the same way 👍
Jacob the carpetbagger and Boogie welcome to the show me state
Carpetbagger is out there on the leading edge at Silver Dollar play spot. All my favorite people from their different specialities are in harmony.with the silver dollar theme and leading edge of thought ! WOW ! IT GETS BETTER ALL THE TIME ! HOLLER!
The water clock means you are stepping back into 1880 like a time machine
And it stops, it means times stopped

I miss SDC so much, I can’t wait to go
that boat where you can shoot water at people looks like a blast! might have to take a vacation now! nice to see things starting to return to "normal"- thanks for getting out there for those who can't ❤️

Once I went on a boat water ride with my mom, but didn't realize we'd get soaked with water. But it was really warm that day so it felt quite nice & was a lot of fun.
After seeing that roller coaster you guys passed on the train, and seeing one go by, I really want to go now and ride that ride.

I’ve gone to SDC since I was a little kid & that flooded mine song is stuck in my head forever. 😀😃
I just found your channel. I love it. I'm from Springfield and I loved this video and the wonders of wild life museum video. You really made us look good! Lol
Hey man !!! Glad to see you back on the road . You should visit the Hagley museum in Philadelphia!!
That mine ride is so cool! It reminds me of The Old Mill at the Minnesota State Fair but the one you went through is much cooler!
Love Silver Dollar City.
I had the chance to go to this place 4 years ago during a family reunion, but they had themselves a heat wave with 100% humidity, so while I grew up in Louisiana, I hadn't been there in 20 years and my kids are from California so the rest of the family decided an indoor venue would be more merciful. Great to see, thanks for the head's up regarding what SDC is like this summer! We live about two hours away in nearby Joplin, MO.
Holy crap! As someone who's recently gotten super into Bonnie and Clyde, have you been to their hideout there? It's such an interesting part of history.
very cool to see you doing a video with Boogie!
I miss Silver Dollar City. Love Branson so much
Love silver dollar city , my daughter works there and we live 5 min from it
I grew up going to SDC every year. I’ve spent so much time in Branson. Love that place. Living vicariously through you On this one. Hope you ate some piggy pops and had some homemade cinnamon bread.

The water guns looked really fun as part of that one boat ride. Towards the end. 👍
This is the best combination i have seen in a while
This looks like a great park to visit! Thank you Jacob! Take care , be safe , my Friend!!❤👋👍✌🇺🇸
Enjoyed you and Boogie together at Silver Dollar City. Get together again.
Cool place and trip. Lunch looked delish also. Really nice park dude
Very nice Jacob Thank You.
I'm not sure I'd be getting on a roller coaster with the letters T-N-T highlighted.😊
Flooded tunnel ride.....the Ultimate " Crime doesn't pay scenario "
Just from that parking lot opening, my first thought was how similar it is to Dollywood. The tram and its station are essentially identical. Sister parks, same ownership, I know.
Not really "sister parks," as Dollywood was literally a Silver Dollar City.
Keep Safe❤Keep Well❤
My sister lives in Branson I’ve been to silver dollar city so much it’s pretty during Christmas time especially
I think their river/water ride construction is an overhaul of a ride they have had for years.
I was on that ride there when I went there in 94 or 95.
No, it was a complete removal of a ride.
Be safe. Thanks for sharing! War Eagle cavern at Beaver Lake has a cool mystery shack and other attractions if you're still in the area.
Dang I love not to far from there. Nice of you to stop by;)
Dude my greatest memories are there I love that place.
Love that place. Hope you take time to go to Hutchinson KS and go to the cosmophere where they have just got back the Liberty 7 capsule. Plus go to strata with strata you have to make a reservation, but I think you will like both
Sufferin Succotash; you must try the succotash at Silver dollar city. Great work as always :-)

Stay safe out there bro. Love your videos.
Dude I can’t believe you got boogie out the house !!! This is awesome !!!
Hats off to you for doing this video while wearing a mask!
I went Sunday. I love the smaller crowds. I guess I didn't pay attention to the air conditioned room, I didn't know you could go in there. Next time!
Real pearls, I get one every time I go, hope to piece them into something purdy before I get to old, lol.
I never been. You given me new things to add to my bucket list thanks
The show looked like it was doing some cute stuff to work around, so that’s something!
As always, please be careful going out and about. We aren’t through this thing yet!

Just wanted to say! Love you Jacob!!!! 😄❤️💕

No Time Traveler? My favorite ride there!
3:40 Thanks for clearning that up for me. I thought it was a foot!
One of the only places I've actually been, albeit only once when I was 11. I really want to go back, but not while most of the stuff is closed and masks are required. Can't have fun if I'm constantly worrying about catching something and missing out on a lot of the attractions.
Actually, only 2 attractions are closed!
I was there, it was nicley done. We got there at noon and barley had any waits to ride.
You should check out fountain city part of Kansas city and inside the huge arch!!
IM SO EXCITED TO SEE YOU GO TO MY FIRST CHILDHOOD AMUSEMENT PARK THAT I STILL GO TO THIS DAY!
and yes the prisoner used to wear a cowboy hat and snore!
I was just hoping that you would revisit Branson. There is so much stuff there that could each get their own video.
Thats it grandfathers mansion look up at the top window.
Where do you stay when you go there ? The stone ridge community is a great place!
Shout-out to the train passenger with the Buc-ee's hat. You know what's up.
I thought you might be heading that way. I'm going to wait a long time for theme park sort of things.
i went there the 1st day they switched from halloween over to christmas, and it was pretty sweet. not very busy, decent weather, lots of cool christmas lights..... and the cave tour is pretty sweet. That's my kind of amusement park with the grands! Wow just realized you are only 7 subs away from the magical 300,000!
I love Silver Dollar City I've been going there every year since I was 3. But we will be shipping this year sadly 😔. Can't wait to be back next year
after the unpleasantness, ..This place looks like Carpetbagger Heaven.
I’m glad you got to eat a beautiful, and delicious meal!
I wrote the ingredients down.
What was you favorite, or more experiences while being with Boogie?
😎I Was at SILVER DOLLAR CITY in 1971 ! 🏴☠👍

Boogie was quite a surprise to see
I'm sure all of those things were actually found on Thunderation the day before it actually opened for the season.
Wooh DollyWood’s sister park.
Carpetbagger have you been to The Ark exhibit? I couldn't find where you did. If you haven't I'd love to see that. I really enjoy your channel! Keep it up, stay safe and I can't wait for your next adventure!
I am related to both the Hatfields and the McCoys. If it weren't closed, do you think I'd be able to drink from that water fountain :)
Great video, thanks!
they have a skit about PPE where no one has PPE on and everyone is in close contact.... yep... we are going to end up shunting down again.
