Honestly I would assume not. I feel like they would’ve chosen to highlight him here if he were in, open with the huge reveals… but they decided to showcase Squidward and Jimmy instead, which to me indicates that they’re the biggest “missing characters” from the first game that we have now. I could be wrong, but heavy hitters are usually revealed early on to drum up hype. This is the case both in Smash and with the DLC for the last game.
