Hotel Prakash is really famous for Sabudana vada, thalipeeth, piyush, aluwadi etc. This is now one of my most favourite place for snacks. Try this restaurant if you are nearby and then let me know how was your experience.

प्रकाश ची मिसळ हिच खरी मिसळ. एव्हढी चांगली मिसळ कुठेच मिळत नाही.
Way back in 1976-81, I used to eat Sabudana vada, vada pav. They used to give sweetened curd with Sabudana vada.
Sweet curd with Sabudana Vada is still served in many places. That too is a nice combination 🤗

I've eaten there once..Piping hot chappatis aani usal chi bhaji..Ekdum Maast..A mumbaikar settled in Pune,I can vouch for the authenticity & flavour.. Piyush is a unique drink prepared in best manner at Prakash. In fact very few restaurants at Mumbai Pune,Thane serve Piyush . One must try Piyush,Thalipeeth & kothimbir vadi and of course Kharvas,also a unique dish of Maharashtrian cuisine.

I just loved your MARATHI PRONUNCIATIONS.
SABUDANA WADA should be tried with Lassi or Piyush that's the best combination.
THALIPEETH when cooked at home should be infused with leftovers of previous night and don't forget to add rice as it helps it for a crispy texture.
I was curious about KOTHIMBIR VADI.
I will surely make a point to visit this place.

Alka you must visit laxmi road Pune for visiting fully authentic maharshrian lunch and snacks at poona n guest house . The hotel is running from more than 75 years and it is very personal favourite of lata mangeshkar and asha Bhosale and lots of marathi film.actors and actreess. You must have a vlog on this hotel.

Aswad vs prakash...which one do you recommend for sabudana wada, misal etc?
Prakash serves a bit chatpata food than Aaswad. In short, people who are fond of less spicy should choose Aaswad and thoda sa medium spicy ke liye Prakash. Do try I Luv Misal outside dadar stn west of you haven't yet. You can check the vlog on my channel
