We were born and brought up in Bhendi Bazaar area where we were doing roaring business and had our residence which was quite big but we left for a better life in the 1980's never looking back. We settled in Pune where life is really good and peaceful and our Children and Grandchildren are born and settled abroad in faraway continent of Australia. We are thankful to the Almighty God for everything. Thankyou.
I would suggest you also try the rawas and prawns Koliwada fry at Hazara in sion Koliwada and also the butter chicken with parathas at Hardeep Punjab right opposite Hazara.

Aaloo vadi is actually a Maharashtrian dish which is vegetarian. They made a non veg version of it but didn't come up with a name to it
And we call it aaloo ke patte that's why it's called aaloo vadi and it is fried after steaming, not sure what do you call it in your area.
