I bought the Nashville Player Plus Tele when it first came out last year, and honestly, it's just amazing. My favorite, number 1 axe now. I have 4 Teles, a couple of Strats, a Les Paul (my former number 1), Gretsch, acoustics...this one is just fabulous.
Great demo. Thanks. My son and I played one of these in a store in Glasgow. Very lovely. My son fell in love with it. Now got to work on my wife to see if I can get a player plus tele for my son and I to "share". Maybe in Cosmic Green
You are coaxing some great sounds from the Nashville. I have been deliberating for quite a while now on buying one. I need to pull the trigger and get one soon. It sounds so good with a clean sound. Just need to decide whether to buy new or second hand & what a decent price would be. I like most colours so quite a good selection is available to me. The Nashville seems so versatile. Great video thank you for posting. I must subscribe 😊
@@damonthegnomeoftonechivers Update I have managed to get a 2021 Player plus Nashville Telecaster, it is wonderful going to take it to a local luthier to get it set up.
@@dudesolitude4390 Thanks for the reply. I"m letting mine sit in the box to get temp acclimated. I'm real excited. I also have a Kramer Stryker that I like really alot.
I can do that! It’s usually a mixture of real and and peadls, a,s some , especially heavier tones are AmpliTube 5. I’ll do a few though...really good idea

Great great playing Damon, I got my Nashville (sunburst maple fretboard) 2 months ago....the first time I got on my hands it felt like I ve been playing it for 10 years or so....its so f**** confortable the c modern neck, the 12" radius, the weitght, the belly cut....every inch on this guitar feels great..... my only problem is that this guitar is too good for me...hahahaha my playing skills doesnt deserve it yet (but im working on changing that)
Great playing and sound on all five switch settings! But I didn’t see any examples of the neck/bridge or neck/middle/bridge sounds that you can get if you pull up on the tone control, activating the neck pickup in switch positions 1 & 2. It’s one of the extra things that makes the Player Plus Nashville Tele so interesting… 7 different switching combinations. Neck/bridge is a classic tele sound, but I’ve been surprised how good all-3-pickups-at-once sounds.
@@damonthegnomeoftonechivers ah… Great… found it. Some more great demo’ing. A great sound and a *very* versatile guitar. Thanks for posting these demos… very helpful.

Man.... I think your video has pushed me over the edge, I need one of these guitars. I only own American made guitars, but I think it's time I give a Mexican made a chance. This Tele seems to get better Strat and Tele tones than any Tele I own...
I´m indecisive between the old Fender Nashville model with those noiseless pickups and the new Gretsch G2655 Streamliner with P90. I don´t know which would like best.
@@damonthegnomeoftonechivers me too i think. Going to get one next week, I think the charvel looks easier to play. I like my fender ultra tele because it has a thinner neck. Think charvel would be close but can never find one to try
I dunno. Teles just don’t look right with a middle pickup and the fact they are 3 different colours makes that centre one look like an afterthought. I prefer the Player Plus Tele in silver smoke. I have a Strat to make Strat noises.
Sensible and Informative review Thanks Just bought one Butterscotch Blonde
Good stuff!!!

Nice playing, tasteful! Thanks for the video, I'm poised on the edge of ordering one, the butterscotch/maple neck jobbie.
Killer looking guitar mate. And those Noiseless pickups rally do retain the right Fender tone and twang.

Very different guitar- have a look at this. It's a much softer , rounder sounding guitar - th-cam.com/video/UPpQYPr9hZg/w-d-xo.html
I think someone forgot to tell you about the pull on the tone knob. Gives you two more PU combinations.
