Off all the 127 songs I do feel that this is the least NEO but I still love it , it’s just a different vibe from there normal stuff but that’s a good thing they keep surprising us . The Album is a killer
"Fact Check" is a lot of fun, but I wish they did more experimenting and crazy stuff in it. It feels like just a solid song all around, but I don't really get that "NEO" vibe from it like I expect and want from songs like "Ay-Yo" and "Sticker" for example. Music video and choreography was amazing for sure. Taeyong created the choreo during the chorus by the way! I believe he's credited for it as well. But that album is FANTASTIC all the way through. Love is a beauty, Angel Eyes and Yacht are my faves.
NCT are always busy. 127 had a comeback in January with Ay-Yo album and finished up their world tour then. Dream started their world tour not long after and released their first Japanese single Best Friend Ever. WayV had been on a fanmeeting tour throughout Asia since the end of 2022. Mark released another solo NCT lab called Golden Hour. DJJ debuted in April. 127 and WayV released singles Sunny Road and Welcome to My Paradise. Taeyong and WayV performed at KCON LA. Taeyong had his solo debut with Shalala. Dream came back with ISTJ album. NCT Tokyo were forming through the competition show NCT Universe LaStart. Jaehyun released another solo NCT Lab with Horizon. NCT 2023 came back with Golden Age album. NCT did multiple shows for their full group concert NCT Nation in both Korea and Japan. NCT Tokyo made their first on stage appearances here. Taeyong & Ten had a single for SWF2. Taeil and Haechan released a single as NCT U for NCT Lab called N.Y.C.T. And now 127 came back with Fact Check album. And NCT Tokyo released their digital pre-release songs Hands Up and We Go while gearing up for their debut in 2024. And WayV are going to be coming back this year as well. And on top of all this NCT did SM Town Live in Jakarta, various other festivals and performances, variety shows, OSTS, fashion events and ambassadors and magazine shoots.

I can never take in an NCT title track in one listen for sure. And I am also a b-side girl. I actually can't think of a favourite artist whose title tracks I love more than their b-sides..... huh
It was so emotional to read Doyoung's letter to fans about how they feel and think about this album. Probably the last album they put out as a unit before members leave for their enlistment. And they picked a simpler structure song as the titlel track to focus on the performance (and Taeyong did the choreo for the chorus!!) They have a performance version they've released and soon we'll get to see their dance practice... (my fav part) They also deliberately made a very diverse album and Taeil wrote most of Love is a Beauty while Taeyong and Mark have writing and composing credits on a number of the songs. We also get the most of Johnny and Yuta's voices that I've heard in most if not all the songs.
It's not my fav of even their title tracks but I really really enjoy watching them perform it, I think it will become an amazing part of their discography and concerts in the future and this album has such a strong place in my heart for all that they put iinto it.
Space is amazing right? Love is a Beauty and Misty are my others in the top 3 currently but wow, such an amazing breadth of styles.
In case you didn't know they have a whole series of little mini stories leading up to this MV. Called Mystery in Seoul and Deities of Seoul, they are a really fun watch and add to the concept in a really fun way. Those shots they have at Gyeongbokgung show the palace and them and the fashion they chose.... wow
