Let's hope so. Surely no one wants Airdrie United to come up. They called themselves the old name before liquidation, so how did they manage to lose the Airdrie United and get the Airdrieonians back?
You’re coverage of Scottish Football is among the best and more positive around and shames the Main Stream coltish Media with their Scottish parochial negativity. I’m always delighted to see young people supporting their local team.
Sad to see the Pars in this position. As a boy I was in their record crowd in 1968 against Celtic. The Pars paraded the Scottish Cup which they'd won on the previous Saturday and Celtic had just become champions. Total mayhem in a dangerously overcrowded ground , there were dozens of people on the roof of the terracing and hanging halfway up the floodlights. A barrier broke sending fans spilling on to the pitch. Dunfermline went on the next season to reach the semi final of the Cup winners Cup, knocking out West Brom on the way. It's been a long way down since then sadly
From a killie fan the pars are a massive club probz should be in spl in all honestly plus Queens never a league 1 team hope Queens get bk up next year 😊
Dunfermline really do have a Premier League set up. Hopefully they can get things together on the pitch at some point to get back up to the top division.
I rushed back from a trip to London for this game. Wish I'd just taken another couple of days in London now. But, I've already bought my play off ticket. My first game was in 1967 and I'll always follow them.
Hey everyone. From the states and stumbled across your video one day and been here ever since. Like to see the traditions that each club gots. Each fan base is different. Keep up the great work
Pars fans take it seriously. As a Well fan I went there years ago, met up with a uni mate for beers then went in our separate ends. Well won 2-1 amidst controversy. We went back to his mum's house for dinner and he went up to his room, never came back down, at all. We had dinner with his mum and sister and went on to have a hooly of a night in Edinburgh, with me losing my Well scarf out the train window on the way back. MEMORIES ! Pars are a premier club with a premier ground. Hope they stay up !
yeah, the spl had these crazy rules in the late 90s-early 00s when stadiums had to be 10k minimum all seaters and only a handful of clubs can only fill them so thats why dunfermline have such a big stadium
I used to like thogden so much but he's become really mainstream now, he feels a million miles away from the ordinary people at this point. Sam is still down here on earth
The shore reminds me a bit of Western Wales - Aberystwyth and its surroundings - without the sea and the waves, but I do understand the people even less. The Welsh speak proper English compared to the Scots. :D Stadiums in Scotland seem to be beautiful, what a shame that Aberdeen will leave Pittodrie soon.
We saw you at the game last night, good video shame about the result for the Pars. I think it will be 50/50 whether they can retain their Championship status now. I hope they can. Keep up the good work 👍🏼
A Dunfermline fan I would love them to stay up but if we stay up there needs to be a clear out of players a lot of the players have not been putting there heart into the team
Queen of the South!!!! I traced my grandfather's lineage back to like the 1700's and my family came from Dumfries area, which I believe is close to where Queen of the South are? My great great great great....grandfather was scottish and fought the british in the Battle of Dumfries and when they lost he became an endentured servant and shipped to the colonies to work in an iron foundry in Massachusetts Colony.....earned his freedom and here I am :)
Hey Raith have done no bad a 5th place finish in a difficult league is alright. Dunfermline’s issue is that the hired a manager that had just relegated a team from the championship the season before really showed no ambition which is really sad to be honest. I can remember sitting in East End Park on 29th Feb 2020 watching dunfermline beat Dundee united that was an amazing day especially as my nephew was mascot that day
Raith retained the league Cup this season and finished just outside the playoffs. It's been a decent season. You can't say they have had a poor season Sam.
HELLO SAM,THANKS FOR YOUR FITBA' FITBAW FITBAWTALKUMENTARIES. A TEAM BEING BOOED, JEERED AND CATCALLED BOTH DURING AND AFTER A GAME BY THEIR OWN FANS WAS VERY COMMO N. Should’ve heard starks park, group of lads, including me started singing pars are going down, then the whole of the penman stand joined in. Killie fans were very good aswell. Hope to see you next season
Crackin video. The results last night provoke a lot of questions. however the question on my lips is...Whats that lad at the start when your in your car doing with that log? What's his story? On a Friday night as well...
Got to love fickle football fans, cheering one minute and booing the next. Did you ask that guy, what that huge bit of drift wood was for?! Maybe do some National league next season, plenty of ex football league including mine, Torquay Utd. Bit of a way I know. Great content, as always.
Hey mate Am pars fan Am season tickets holders like your videos ..please come to next DUNFERMLINE v Falkirk home and away game when season start.. I be looking forward too meet you .. serious Big rivals against. Two team in league one ☝️
@@nickmullerITFC78 me and my mate had to leave early at a fife derby and it was a relief we did, because not 5 minutes later fights broke out bare in mind we were only 14 at this point
Need to get your backside down for a Queens game next season when hopefully we will be challenging for the title, give me a shout and I can speak to the club and try and get you in for the museum tour and show you about the stadium
Dunfermline Athletic are one of my favourite respective Scottish clubs daily and ever in this world and other planets and they are one of the respective small clubs to have won 5 titles(2 Scottish Cups and 3 Scottish League Cups)!!!However,I am extremely so sad to see them about to be playing in the playoff round up against the fourth place Scottish League 1 team Queens Park but hoping for them to win and stay in the league, good friends!!!🙏
It's probably just me. But it bores me to death watching match predictions. And 2nd its hard to watch so many kids especially giving inane match predictions

Will Dunfermline stay up this season???
I think Dunfermline will lose to Airdrieonians in the playoffs
I'm just gonna say this. Mon Queens Park
I am hoping to see them staying up despite this defeat which they should have won, good friend Sam!!!🙏

Spot on 👍
I agree, i would say the best out there. A really genuine guy, who loves football.
Hope he does well 👍
Absolutely agree with the OP, nailed it.
Not just the scottish game but smaller leagues in general coz hes been to portugal, championship and league 1 games this season as well

@William Dryden Yes it's hard to believe I saw Dundee beat AC Milan 2-0 in the UEFA Cup back in the 70s
I was there as well, it was seriously overcrowded, but what an atmosphere. Best was Valencia a classic.
Good to see the local kids getting out to support their local team.

On our day we will fill East End Park just at the moment the locals are so disalusioned they have lost interest
@@sharonbrown8872 understandable considering your league position
Sam's enthusiasm is infectious and I love his videos.
Never had such respect for non premier and championship teams until I watched your videos... got me going to games every week
As a Rovers fan I know all too well the uselessness that is John Hughes having endured relegation under his tenure. The guys a rocket.
Not my cup of tea either. I am a Raith fan but I don't like to see Dunfermline struggle like this.
Wee all agree Sam North is better than Thogden
Yes and no, thogden covers the big games but footy adventures is more non league so their good in their own ways
Agreed. Far easier to watch too
Thogden tries too hard to make people like him Sam's a natural.

The Ayr game was class brilliant game up the Honest Men
My ancestors are from torryburn (I live in the USA) and I've been looking for a video like this.
There’s nothing between 6/7 teams in that league. First goal, dodgy decision, it’s all that separates them.
Glorious watching the meltdown of the ‘big’ team

Well played queens expected to get easily pumped in this game
The one true Dunfermline legend, Jim Leishman, who i've just found out is now Provost of Fife.
We are a joke this season.
Could be my adopted Scottish club, the Pars versus my older brother's, the Diamonds in the Play-Off Final. This could be 'interesting'!
