I always wanted to see someone "fix" *Halloween III* by replacing the stupid *Halloween (1978)* commercial in the bar and the scene Tom Atkins watches when captured with fictional news footage talking about the "escaped mental patients at the Smith's Grove Sanitarium" (ie have *Halloween III* take place in Northern California during the Halloween of 1978). Maybe have some of the kids in the background during *Halloween* (like when we first see Laurie leaving her home) wearing Silver Shamrock masks, and put some in the shop window in *Halloween II* when Michael is heading to the hospital and almost runs into the teen with the boombox on his shoulder. Those 2 things I believe is what pissed people off about *Halloween III;* it's not so much that Michael Myers wasn't in it (because he was kind of _blown up_ in the previous film).. it was how *Halloween III* insinuated that Michael Myers was just a stupid fictional character.. _in your Halloween movie._ If you solidify the events of the first 2 by showing that *Halloween III* is taking place at the same time but in a different area of the country, it would have helped push the anthology angle Carpenter wanted, with the condition that all movies take place in 1978.
@TheRealNormanBates That's a very big undertaking but, I'll see if I can manage. The boom box scene might be easy as it's just an audio edit, but the TV part might be difficult. Either way, I'll try to come up with something, I have a few other edits in place right now. I do agree on perhaps showing the events of the first 2 Halloweens being "canon" in Halloween 3, would've been a better idea all together.

I like that you edited out the whole sister angle. There's actually a goof in Halloween 2 where Loomis fires the gun one but then if you count the gun goes off six more times meaning he shot him seven times or at least that's what the edit implies which is impossible unless Loomis reloaded that one bullet.
No they could of kept it alilbit meaning everyone know Laurie is Michaels sister and they all figured out why he keeps coming after her every Halloween

If the whole sibling thing between Laurie and Michael never existed, we could've speculate the reason why Michael is after Laurie in the hospital is because she's the final girl and he has unfinished business with her. In which, it's also a golden opportunity for him to catch more bodies.

When we find out, the horror is that he is a regular looking person with the vacant eyes loomis described. Also it was a way for loomis to see that it was Myers he was going to shoot at and not some douchebag playing with his girlfriend.
Originally he fell off the back. Then this one up a ramp off the front. Shot 7 times. Then Loomis looked shocked when he got downstairs whereas he knew that Michael wouldn’t be there in the original. Also that house door opens on opposite sides from the exterior to interior.
That would of been a good way to end 1978 Halloween the night he came home to 1981 the start of Halloween more the night he came home these 2 movies are legends nothing will top these 2 Groundbase Halloween movies that made a Money making Halloween movie franchise
It's rather pointless to remove the sibling plotline. The original film itself has been setting up that plotline from the moment Michael took Judith's tombstone and laid it next to Annie's body.
It's stated in many interviews that the sibling plotline was conjured up by John Carpenter while suffering from writer's block (and some alcohol poisoning ifykyk) during the production of Halloween II. So no, I don't believe this was pointless, because nowhere in the original film, is there any mention of Michael and Laurie being siblings. Michael took Judith's tombstone as a macabre decoration for his 15th anniversary killings.
@Danolyzed the 3rd one i don't mind but i don't reqlly consider it part of the Halloween movies i look at it as its own horror movie. I can't stand 4, 5, 6 and then the H20 & Resurrection are just terrible lol i wasn't a fan of the newer recent Halloween movies as well. Halloween 1978 & Halloween II kick so much ass

@@Mike-t5r9q Yes, the Halloween filmakers wanted tp cash in on the popularity of the franchise. They were very cheap. The Shape masks in those films looks like crap. Jason on the other hand became the James Bond of the slasher films. He even made some sort of gun barrel sequence at the beggining of Part VI. Crazy.

I did fix the whole "Loomis fired 7 times" with just minimizing the scene where Michael falls off the balcony.
