I will always be thankful for 2NE1. I’m in my 30s. I discovered kpop in 2010, and I was so obsessed with 2NE1. My biggest regret was never seeing them live when they were still a group, but I’ll forever be cheer each member on.

as they were my very first kpop group, i'm overjoyed whenever any 2ne1 member releases something new, but i'll be forever grateful that bom especially is still doing music. after all she went through, i would've understood if she'd chosen to stop or leave the industry altogether -- but she hasn't. quite the contrary, she keeps gifting us these beautiful songs that often feel like warm hugs. i'll keep holding her and the rest of 2ne1 safe in a special place in my heart.

I’m from Cali and 2ne1 became a hit when I was in middle school. If it wasn’t for them and Bigbang, I would not be introduce to kpop. 2ne1 also made it to the American music industry market with Will am I , it was a big deal back at that time . They definitely pave the road for kpop in the American music ent market .
