I liked the mic where she removed the wind foam and it was like all exposed and ultra sensitive! I think that on Donna, but im not sure. I like her stuff cause the mics she uses are way more crisp I think
ASMR blossom uses that mic and I gotta say her nail tapping is AWESOME. You should try doing some tapping, too.. the mic is great for that type of sound

I checked the volume again on different devices and with different headphones, it works perfectly fine for me. Also, no one else complained (so far), so it seems to be okay for everyone else as well. I'm sure the problem must be on your end then. :/
The volumes are at the level where if someone had an air conditioner or something in their room, it would probably be like the video is muted, its all good for me, because I have amazing headphones, but i would understand the needing for a slight volume increase. if its possible. :P (love your videos if you do see dis donnaaaa :P)
I like the sounds of the feather, and totally prefer the tascam mic. It's like there's such a good audio quality but doesn't make the sounds so harsh to hear or with a metallic effect.
The most important things for a microphone and recording in general are in this order: 1st= Noise floor. Gives very low or no ambient static. 2nd Isolation= records only the sounds you want it to record, ie, not the weeblewobble of your table. 3rd Fidelity= How accurately does it record the sound. 4th Ambiance= how lifelike is the recording.

My guess is that AB Isolates the microphones from each other, XY allows sound picked up by one microphone to be picked up by the other. It could be a preference thing or maybe it allows for a better binaural sound
I can never listen to asmr with both headphones on, always listen with one of them. But the x and y pattern with a feather changed my life!!!! I listened to it with both headphones on and got knocked out almost immediately. Please, do more of this 💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗

DonnaASMR I ordered the DR-05, I really would've liked to be able to switch between A-B and X-Y but right now I can't afford the newer models that can do that so I figured it's a start :)
Jake Tapeworm I now use a DR-05 and it's pretty good, especially for the price you can't go wrong with it, ofcourse it's never gonna be studio quality with mics like these but for on the go recording it's pretty damn good
They are different stereo micing techniques. For the size of her unit and the way that it is set up, there wont be too much of a difference audio wise, however when using 'proper' microphones to record a stereo image there can be very noticeable differences :)

was really confused cus my phone doesnt support sound in one ear and notin the other one (with a stereo headset) but this vid gave me asmr when i was on my pc, amd when i couldnt hear the sounds seperate i thought my headset had broke

x-y pattern can make the sounds sound closer to your face while a-b sounds more like side-to-side.

It depends on how you position the mic if you have visuals too.
I usually don't do much audio editing other than flipping the channels if necessary.

Yeah you really can hear the mic metal and stuff, but the sound is very clear! ^^ I like the X-Y mic pattern definitely more.
