A short video using various clips of the scottish western and northern isles. Made for a college presentation in 2006 using footage from Coast and music by DJ Tiesto.
Looks fab, and good music. One of my students in France told me the Orkneys were so good, he and his new bride actually delayed their visit to Florence for a few days, and are glad they did! I loved the Westmann Islands in Iceland, so this looks like it is for me!
It was difficult getting a lot of footage just of orkney, so alot of it is also of the western isles... Apologies, will be making a new orkney video soon with all orkney stock footage.
Yes, You're right. Didn't have enough Orkney footage for the length of the music so got some extra shots of the western isles and north coast and slid them in...
Awesome video!! I really like it! I'm American but of a large part Scottish descent, 100% Highland though! My ancestors came from the Isles of Lewis and Harris, and various other Isles of the outer Hebrides!
