    Hello there. First of all I'd like to thank you for your effort. You're explaining everything perfectly clear and your content is really unique)
    And I'd like to ask a question. Right now I am at this video. I started from the playlist "Basic Russian. First Semester. Lesson 1" I'd like to follow playlists but I'm not sure if they're covering all your content. I see you also have intermediate content but none such a playlist. With which order should I follow your videos?
    Thank you and have a nice day)

    Thank you for another great video, Olga! In my language class, I received a very confusing grammar tablet. I never knew which letters are hard and soft, but thanks to your efforts, I finally understood it! Thank you so much.

    At 6:45, did you mean that the stem is soft because of ь? Or did I understand something wrong?

    Wonderful video, but I remain confused by one thing. With the word лекция, how do we know that stem-ending break is лекци-я rather than лекц-ия ? If the first letter of an ending is always a vowel, it could be either one. Likewise with the word идея. I do not understand why the stem-ending break is иде-я, and not ид-ея. Is anyone able to explain how to know where to break such words?

    Can we conclude from this lesson that no Russian word ends in твёрдый знак?

    Thanks, but I'm not going to let this confusing topic stop my progress. Remembering the 5 and 7 letter spelling rule gets most of my spelling correct. When I am incorrect, I learn it by repetition. A teacher that is well versed in grammar probably feels compelled to explain the details as you did, but I find this to be too much. I would rather learn adjective endings by input.

    • @AmazingRussian
      @AmazingRussian  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@RussianRussia-xn6io Your approach to learning through repetition and focusing on the 5- and 7-letter spelling rule is a great strategy for building confidence with spelling over time. It makes sense to prioritize what works best for you, especially when you feel that certain explanations can become overwhelming. Input-based learning can definitely help solidify adjective endings naturally over time, and you’ll likely find patterns emerging as you practice more.
      This video that includes the grammar explanation is not replacing the communicative approach and comprehensive input we implement in university courses. However, university students deserve an understanding of these rules. Otherwise, you will continue guessing when making your choices in endings.
      Thank you for your comment. It sounds a little aggressive though.
