Very safe. Leopard has been building like this since 2011 with no incidents. The forward cockpit drains quickly (under a minute) as it needed to be to meet certifications for offshore use.
@@Planzman1 - you're right. Plus, the additional space when not set up with a large (I believe 6 or 8-seat) folding teak table allows for plenty of storage with access to the hydraulic lift. I've seen a few Leopard 58s set up with a full dive gear station in the cockpit. Nice perk for those who can afford it.
Um.... So, every Leopard 58 crosses the Atlantic, Indian, or Pacific oceans from South Africa on their own hulls. I agree that the open bridge seems less than practical in many offshore circumstances, but you really can't say they aren't ocean-crossing vessels.
Why cant they cross oceans? They melt like butter or something? How do you think they get from South Africa to their destination? In a Fed Ex box? Your only sailing experience is clearly just watching TH-cam videos.
How about this one sailing across the Atlantic? th-cam.com/video/77i4SrSDe6Q/w-d-xo.html Leopards are delivered on their own bottoms a lot of the time, especially to remote locations like Tahiti, Thailand, etc.
Is a car? This is a luxury item. Anyone who own a boat, from a jon boat to a mega yacht knows they will never get back as much money as they put into it.
Imagine those folks on "sailing ships" back in the 1800s seeing this...arrrrg!
These vids are much better than those Leopard vids with the South African guy using the cheesy, flowery language.
Thank you for an excellent report on this very desirable vessel. I am wondering how safe the forward facing windows are?

Great Cat, and reasonable price, wish I could purchase.
Beautiful 👍🤩
Great yacht, good price.
Very nice! I saw 3.8' on the depth finders and charter was 4.1', is that water surface to bottom?
Typically depth readings on your sounder are from the bottom of the hull to the sea floor.
@@Ringele5574 This is correct
Thanks, good cideo
Love it!!
Where is the cockpit furniture? There's literally nothing there. WTF?
It's a flybridge helm, you idiot.
Damage, Inc. wtf r u talking about? What does the helm position have to do with the lack of cockpit furniture. Moron.
From what i have seen on other 58 models
Customer owned folding teak table and chairs stored in the rear lockers
When not in use or under way
Gone with wynns video at 8:20

This boat nice cruiser. Not an offshore ocean crossing vessel
I'm guessing Leopard has factories all over the world then because I have seen them sailing ALL OVER

Is she still available?
The cleaning..
The owners version is a three cabin, this is the charter version
Leopard considers the 5 and 6 cabins versions as charter this one with a Master and a VIP is still consider an owners version
How can you be a boat broker and call it "It mast furling boom"? No such thing.
Does it come with toilet paper? 🧻
We can throw some in!
Beautiful house on the water.
That is far from being a sail boat.

Ya right a depreciating asset won't be worth half this in 5 yrs
