Absolutely!
Its beautiful! Another tip for avoiding fingerprints is to leave your piece by a window and let the sun finish curing it. After that you are good to go!
Oh really! That's a good idea!!!
If you don't want something to be effected by the UV light while curing another piece (like when curing between layers)... Place a plastic cup upside-down over the piece not being cured.
Yes I've since learnt to do stuff like that! Just gotta remember to make sure it's opaque too!😆

Great video! Thanks to you, I'm now addicted to glitter. I added so much glitter to the resin in my last shaker that you couldn't tell if it was a gamer shaker or what. But I loved how it looked!

Thanks so much Ayesha; this video was so helpful! I love your final project. Have you tried layering with silicone molds? If so, how did you address the uv resin bowing in the mold? Sticky residue on the outer layer of the resin cast? Not sure if I need to switch resin. 😵💫💖
You're welcome! I find it quite tricky if you're using a large mould. You're better off with epoxy resin if you're doing larger pieces I think. I try not to cure it for too long in between layers so that it doesn't peel away from the edges xz

Such a good tip. I use to do everything in 1 layer and let just say it never work out lol I need to buy this starter box but then the premium box are always so good. Then I am broke for spending $50 compare to $35 T_T Dec premium box is sooooooo good. Why is life so cruel? lol

Just a quick question to a beginner, how fast should you mix pigments into your resin so you don’t get bubbles or should you mix it slowly
I mix at a fairly moderate pace and then give a gentle blast with a heat gun if I feel I got too many bubbles in there!

First love your accent. Great video. Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong? I tried to make a crystal with uv resin but the inside was liquid for some time (much thicker). Can I do layers and if so, how long under light in between layers?
Thank you! You may need a stronger lamp. How strong is yours?
@@AyeshaShaSha I'm not sure but seems got enough warped or burnt a couple of pieces but then again I think I did too long. I used mica powder on those
I would use a 36W one, flash cure each layer, then leave for a full cure for about 10 mins...

If you give away a piece, do you instruct the receiver to never ever touch the surface? Personally, I would rather glace with a layer of nail gel?
I actually don't instruct that, because it's impossible to not touch the surface... but I do use nail gel as a top coat sometimes because it just dries so well!
Ik this video is from a while ago so idk if you’ll respond 😭 but I tried making a resin keychain with UV resin but when I went to pour the pink layer on to the cured clear one it turned the clear layer and the picture pink. How I stop this??? Is my lamp not strong enough?
Hello! I always do my best to answer every comment I see! You must make sure your layers are cured hard enough before adding another layer.. you could try a stronger lamp! Also make sure your pigments are thoroughly mixed to avoid any colour bleeding!🥰 Thanks for watching!

After watching a bunch of your videos I've decided to try out resin crafting! However, I noticed that whenever I tried to cure it with my UV lamp. My resin piece would always come out tacky. Any advice? I've tried to blast it under the UV lamp for longer but it still ends up tacky... x.x
Hello lovely! Either a) you need a stronger lamp or b) you need to get some UV No Wipe Top Coat, that will get rid of the tack!!

I can not get my pieces to cure correctly. I get a sticky feeling with my Pens. And the Alcohol takes away the shine. What am I doing wrong
Get yourself some No Wipe UV Top Coat.. That should help!

How long do you cure your piece in between layers?
really depends what it is, but usually about 30 secs to a minute!
Mine come out sticky
Make sure you're using a strong enough lamp! 😊
Thank you I'm using a nail lamp 😒 I just put clear nail polish on the sticky ones. I just don't want them all to come out sticky anymore
Clear UV coat is good for that... I would use a 36W lamp minimum 😍
what flashlight are you using? My uv resin is not setting 😭😭
