Nina is revolutionizing the MMA interview field. So far it was mostly Joe Rogan that would reveal the human part of the athletes during his MMA podcasts, but now Nina is joining the frame.
In America there is a massive difference in humor between the 4 corners of the lower 48. The northeast style of humor is like a cousin to British humor. Not the case in the other 3 corners.

I think that’s the disconnect for some people is British humor is the opposite of American humor. It comes off as dry, sarcastic, as if he doesn’t want to be there or isn’t a “good sport” but that wasn’t the case at all. Tom is a funny guy! Charismatic and respectful, the humor is just different. I'm curious if any Americans actually like this interview or if all these positive obsessive fan comments are English? (No offense, I love Tom). I thought the interview was horrendous, because Nina made it so awkward that Tom had no choice but to basically play stupid and create dumb answers. His interviews before this with Bisping and Ariel Helwani are absolutely amazing. This one was silly, but not particularly endearing.

That's not saying much. They cater to people with basic thoughts... and Tom is a pretty smart guy. You can tell that he thought Nina was hot at first... but there isn't much to chew on with her. You could tell Tom was like... give me something here.

In America there is a massive difference in humor between the 4 corners of the lower 48. The northeast style of humor is like a cousin to British humor. Not the case in the other 3 corners.

People seem to think Tom is too serious, but it’s just the dry British sense of humor. As somebody from the UK, I thought they got on great and Tom seemed to be having a good laugh. Americans are generally more expressive and over the top when it comes to their sense of humor, whereas britons are more dry and sarcastic.
That’s what I’m saying! I’ve been to the UK so many times and this is British humor! To Americans it comes off as dry or uncomfortable but it’s entirely different from us, I freakin love it 😂😂😂 have you ever seen the UK version of The Office? Hilarious

I think that’s the disconnect for some people is British humor is the opposite of American humor. It comes off as dry, sarcastic, as if he doesn’t want to be there or isn’t a “good sport” but that wasn’t the case at all. Tom is a funny guy! Charismatic and respectful, the humor is just different. Y’all should watch the UK version of The Office and you’ll understand!
