I read the paperback, The Spy who loved me, as a school boy. I used to watch Roger Moore on TV as the Saint. I did like his more English accent. Of course he was great!!
RIP SIR ROGER MOORE thank's for the many year's of your service to film thrilling us and making us laugh and your large contribution to UNISEF...you really was the Saint.
Bonds opening sequences are so well done, you can tell a lot of thought and visual effects went into the begining to immerse you in the James bond mythology.
Apologies for being so late to this party (007 years, in fact), the wonderful Ian Davis recommended this excellent video! Very cleverly edited and put together, plus brilliant use of the original locations! Bravo 👏
When my late dad brought me to see The spy who loved me in July 1977 I was 8 years old and seeing the Lotus driving out of the sea onto the beach, the smile on my face was priceless
In my humble opinion i think this is the best bond film ever, iv read that Roger Moore thought it was the best one he did, though his first one live and let die was alsome.
Ha ha, someone spent a great amount of time editing this, good job! It kind of turned the chase scene into a domestic conflict, husband in his Lotus, wife pissed following in the chopper trying to take the Lotus out!
A submersible Lotus Esprit in the 1970's - well I always wanted one. I didn't know it was fiction at the time when I was less than 10 years old. That said, what an awesome concept - James Bond as always - then continuing to challenge us. It needs to continue...
That was funny, and very well put together. It is amazing how technology has improved the digital camera, how a pocket camera can equal or exceed that of movie production equipment from decades ago.
That was not so bad of an entertaining film clip of the 1977 'James Bond: The Spy Who Loved Me'. I was 21 that year and I did see it at the theater. In my hometown on the other side of the southbound 101 freeway from the lower part of the downtown area there were a few auto dealerships. One of them was British Leyland and in the showroom they had a couple of Lotus Esprit autos. At that time they were selling for over $16,000. I was working at that time and trying to do my finances to see how much I can save to purchase one. It would have taken me a few years to save up for a good down payment which never happened. It was sometime in the 80's little by little those auto dealerships closed and moved on to the point they no longer exist around that area.
Great work, you two. Slightly over the top. But fun to watch. Let me give you an advice. Next time - invite your family members as extras. Ok? (Thumbs up!)

The original Giugiaro Esprit - yes. The original Gandini Countach LP400 - yes. The ruined and spoiled glued-on wheel arches Countach 5000QV - no. The dated 80's cocaine-mobile Testarossa - never, and nobody in their right mind would count it as one of the 10 best looking Ferrari's ever. Nice, clean, unspoiled lines. Timeless. Vulgar, dated, gaudy and excess. Tasteless. And don't stereotype Milennials either. They're no different from any other generation before them.
+Wez Marauder I don't like the original Countach, too old. The LP5000 or whatever Quatrovalvole with beautiful wheel arches is my favorite Countach. Original 1990-1991 as well. Testarossa? Love all the Testarossa's except for the last Modificata edition with exposed headlights, rather gaudy. And I don't associate these cars with narcotics. I associate these cars with great Italian design and performance. I am not a weed induced millennial, either.
Brilliant , Superb, Excellent. Lol lol lol. What a delight. You.ve certainly done your Homework/ Research. Uwe Brosamle , you are a Credit to the Worldwide Bond Fraternity. Well Done. Great Video. Thank You for Sharing.
Very cute. Kudos to your wife for not minding your killing her on screen (I very much doubt that my wife would go for any such thing), and for having the nerve to replace Caroline Munro in the helicopter (few people would dare).
Haha not bad at all! :) Though you should have let the music play fully before next scene. I dunno why, maybe because I love the music so much. But have to say nicely made :) Cheers...
I have got this movie DVD of Roger Moore as 007 Bond with Barbara Bach Richard Kiel as Jaws Caroline Monroe and Curt Jürgeons as the baddie Stromberg as his car called the Austin Morris Bulldog as it can turn into a submarine Caroline Monroe is flying a helicopter as Roger Moore is about to say goodbye to uninvited guest as his car has got missiles in his car as he releases one to bring down Caroline Monroe's helicopter has got bullets underneath her stands as you can see as Roger Moore asks Barbara Bach can you swim as his car dives under the ocean as you can see the car turning into a submarine as this was one of my favourite James Bond movie DVDS as it was a sea adventure I am dedicating this movie DVD to my old school friends who are both sisters as I hope to see them both again very soon to Chris and Hester from Billyxxxx

An absolutely brilliant bit of fun! If I was a Bond film producer, I'd give the maker of this video a cameo appearance in the next Bond film!
