That Ninja design is still a thing of beauty, can't go wrong with a pure Ninja look!
I always prefer the molded plastic to real cloth. He looks great!
The little tab on arrow part of the bow and arrow can also fit seamlessly into the sword holder on his back. Once you do that, you can also get the sword to kind of wedge in next to the bow. Probably wouldn't hold up long during play that way but it works well if you want both hands for the nunchuks during display.
It's a shame we never got to see him in the cartoons. Ninjas were all the craze in the 80's. Now anybody can be a ninja if they can run through an obstacle course.

I'm glad he doesn't have a cloth hood. The sculpted head is more consistent with other hooded characters in the line, like Skeletor, and it looks way better than the vintage version.
Hopefully Mattel will make a head accessory pack down the road, to give us Ninjor without his hood, and Duncan without his helmet, etc.
I agree. Cloth goods look so cheap.
A heads-pack would be awesome! Give us original He-Man and Skeletor, a Man-at-Arms w/o mustache, maybe more!
I replaced the silver grey katana and nunchucks of my Ninjor Origins figure with orange versions from an online store that sells 3D printed MOTU weapons.
I like how the orange weapons actually complement Ninjor's black and red color scheme, basically mimicking Stinkor's look.
The card back art for the Clamp Champ figure shows the aftermath of Ninjor's battle with him and Randor....hope you stop by my channel and check out the review, Dan! Cheers!
That tab coming down from the arrow fits in to the slot on his back too
Definitely should’ve been deluxe and included the alternative head, a chopping action and a chopping hand, the Ram Man and Clamp Champ alternate heads were so unnecessary. Also great to see it can be combined with He-Man to create a Ken Masters figure!

Found ninjor and hordak at Target over the weekend I was pretty pumped
My local Walmart store has only stocked wave 1. We're still waiting for everything from wave 2 forward. Target stores nearby have only stocked He-Man, Battlecat, Skeletor, and Panthor. Nothing else. Also, I think Ninjor should have been a deluxe figure instead of Clamp Champ, because the original Ninjor had a removable hood to expose his face. This figure should have come with 2 heads. One with his face covered and one without the mask.
Looks awesome! Might have to paint the sash on his waist red tho. Him & Fisto really should’ve been deluxe figures. Extra heads, accessories, & the spring loaded arm function. Oh well. Still cool!
I've never heard of this guy so I passed him up but after watching this I might just get him.
I really miss the metal chain too- it was pretty hardcore anytime an 80’s toy came with real metal parts, especially chains (insanely cheap to buy on sites like wish, if you want to custom him up). But I was very happily surprised to find that the plastic chain is made of actual, individual links! I expected one solid piece! I do wish one of his hands were vertically hinged, so he could hold his sword upward ala He-Man, but dude, I’m very happy with him! I found Hordak (thankfully non-derpy eyes) and Tri-Klops in one Target trip!
Super7 is going to sell SilverHawks, but no silver (no vac metal?!?!), no spring action, and for an insane $55/each! I know we haven’t always agreed on the store, but dude, $55 for non-SilverHawks? And it’s a fair guess they’ll rerelease vac metal versions for $75-$80 *after* everyone buys the first lazy/extremely overpriced waves. You can buy almost 4 MOTU Origins for the cost of ONE not-even-close-to-silver SilverHawk! Flynn need’s to find reality, my friend! And he’ll be selling GI Joe ReActions for $20; the same price as a Classified 6”, but with only 5 points of articulation. I know he’s your buddy, but dude, he’s losing his mind.

@customvideo454 I remember the good old days when people had weeks, months, and even years to get the action figures from store shelves. It was more relaxing and enjoyable that way.
I just picked this up the other day, & I really like him, lots of cool accessories & looks great!
i still have my Ninjor as well.. and the original He-man... and a chewed on Grizzlor..
I always wrapped his shirt thing with the strips from that cloth shirt he's wearing.. so it would look more fitted, not let it hang like on your figure.
It's a MOTU figure man, those OG's deserve better ;)
I really hope to see the Snakemen in Masters Of The Universe Origins Specifically King Hiss, Rattlor , and Kobra Khan. I also hope to see Blast-Attak and Extendar even though there not part of the Snakemen I still hope to see them as well.

I want to see Ninjor, Scareglow and all the lesser known motu chars in the new netflix Heman series it is time for them to get screen time and character development.

I was a bit unsure about the Ninjor figure but seeing it out of its packaging, its a quality figure. Moulded over cloth for me definitely.
This hypothetically could be possibly why Power Rangers won't release Ninjor in the Lightning Collection due to copyright 🤔

I just realized, the King Randor on the cardback appears to be based on his action figure version rather than the grayhaired one from the minicomics we normally see on these.
Can't you use your Mattel connections to get them to finally ship this stuff over to Europe? It's insane over here, you gotta be insanely lucky to get one.
Really Im in the uk and Ive been able to get most of them from amazon being shipped from europe.
@@SwordInTheStorm Specifically wave 4 I can't get anything except from scalpers - and I refuse to buy from scalpers. Not paying 35 bucks for a figure that's supposed to be 19 tops. Add to that the fact that the other waves I ordered through Amazon all arrived in an abysmal state because they tend to put them into packages that are way too small, bending the cards, breaking blisters during transport etc.
@@HansLollo Yeah amazon is no good if your a MOC collector but I open mine so its ok for me I got the whole of wave 4 except for Ninjor. Good luck in your Hunting.
got entire wave 4 at target this weekend was jacked.. but still have not seen wave 2 or 3 weird!
Only thing about this line I wish they did was have the different arms. He man had the biggest muscles. Skeletor was a little smaller in tbe arms...beast man had the longer arms. Everyone in this line has the same muscles. Still live them though and I understand that it cuts costs. God I miss the 80s
Can make a cool Hord skeletor seeing reused skeletors body :)
For the nunchuks pull the handle all the way through if you can and let it hang by the chain

I really cannot understand why in 2021 we cannot have additional unmasked head? It is insane to have tunic over chest and than plastic face covered head, (and only that head).
This new Ninjor reminded me of Ninja III.
They're doin' this kind of figures just because they don't need so much new toolin'. That last bunch of figures was all about shared parts, King Randor, Ninjor, Clamp Champ and Scareglow. The Snake Men, The Evil Horde and the movie figures need so much new toolin' and it's not a risk that Mattel will take at this stage. Also because they got this worderful idea of three action figures lines competin' against each other.
Yet, they made Roboto.

Maybe we'll get an alternate heads pak in the future. Along with some weapon paks :)
OK, I never got the pun in the name until now... NINJa warriOR... oh boy.
Anyway, wave 4 figures are starting to appear here in Brazil, but I still did not was able to get all 4 at once to fill the cart and not pay 2 or 3 shopping. I hope it gets more in stock before the easter holiday.

The ones that come packed in with the figures here in the uk don't, they're completely devoid of text at all. The Ninjor comic is quite hard to follow without any text :(

I just got done watching your video from earlier today.
Amazing that Mattel can still use the name of Ninjor, as nowadays, when people talk about "Ninjor", they mean the blue-armored hero from Power Rangers who granted the MMPR ninja powers.
I wish they would have made it with the cloth accessories. I know it's a cost issue, but it should be like the original one was. Plus, if you can't find the cloth goods for an original Ninjor, or don't feel like paying insane prices for it, you could buy this one and put the Ninja clothes on the old one. Origins accessories work great with the old figures, and most of them fit perfectly.
There used to be 5 ninja turtles...Ninjor evened them up. NINJA POWER!!!
I don't recall this one as a kid
1. He wasn't in the show
2. I never saw it on the shelf
3. And if you had it at your house I would have thought it was just another ninja action figure.
Ninjor and Rio Blast are two that just seems like they got tacked on the MOTU brand, not that they were initially developed for them.
What 80's kid doesn't love Ninjas, my favorite from Wave 4. It's pretty cool that we are getting these later released characters early in the Origins line. Thanks for explaining the demon feet, that always confuses people.

Hi Dan from Canada, nice review little question sorry for my writhing im french: notice along the arrow ,there a little rectangle (tab) going down , is it possible the plastic rectangle can go at the place of the sword, if you put the sword in is hand and having the bow at the place of the sword, like that is like having the bow being is back, hope you understand what i mean, anaway Have a nice day & be safe friend

I was never a fan of this one back in the day, always thought it was a little bit too much. But if Mattel is releasing this one, then there's hope for others like, say, Mosquitor (and hopefully with the blood pump in the chest feature back) or Dragstor (with the wheel and the zip cord too).
Mattel is too cheap now to put good gimmicks in their toys. The Cobra Khan origins figure was a huge letdown. They couldn't even make a squirt head like the original. It's pathetic, and that new Snake Mountain looks cool, but without the microphone gimmick, it pales in comparison to the original one. Mattel needs to step it up.
Hope Bashido will come too.

Am I the only person who can't find wave 2 and 3 anywhere in stores? What's up with the distribution of these?
I'm so glad Ninjor came with sculpted clothing rather than cheap looking cloth goods. Cloth goods never hang like real clothes due to the small size and light weight of them which leads to the figure just looking like a cheap dolly. Sculpted plastic can really capture the look of actual clothing creases and textures.
Cloth goods can be done right, but they won't even try because it costs too much to make them.

Do some of your figures have weak right knees? I notice I have some trouble posing He-Man and Man-At-Arms because their right knees constantly want to give out. Do they need knee replacement surgery?! 😉

A demonic ninja summoned from a different universe.. hmm. Maybe he came from the Mortal Kombat universe. Oh a Motu, MK cross over, that must happen!
There's a little separation, but they do exist in the same multiverse. MOTU crossed over with the Injustice version of the DC Universe, which coexists with Mortal Kombat (said universe first appeared in Mortal Kombat vs DC). I fully expect to see at least He-Man and Skeletor as DLC characters in the inevitable Injustice 3 (an Injustice prequel comic just wrapped up a few months ago, I'm willing to bet that's building up to an Injustice 3 announcement at E3/Fandome/SDCC or whatever event happens this year.

I think Mattel wanted to avoid anyone whining about racial stereotyping by having an asian guy look asian. Keeping his hood on skirts around that.
But he has the slanted eyes still. This is a cost cutting measure (plastic is cheaper than cloth, and they don't include alternate heads with non-deluxe figures)

I never liked Him as a kid lol I was always like Why is there a Ninja in MOTU? lol and why did He come with creature hands and feet?? He's so bizarre. I'll definitely be buying this if I can find it but yeah He's bizarre
Cool figure of course but been very disappointed with the head sculpt -that you can't see his face. This Figure should have been Deluxe-absolutely. Missing opportunity by Mattel.
