One of my orders was missing content in the packaging and NZXT was gracious enough to send me an even bigger RGB controller with 8 ports. Each controller comes with splitters as well. All your RGB control should be controlled by CAMs NZXT software and the system's fans should be plugged into your MoBo so they can spin up once the GPU hits the temperatures as directed. I wouldn't recommend purchasing two controllers just configure one and sync everything up nicely and neatly 👌🏽
What would you do if you wanted to control 9 rgb connections?
Two controllers would be the simplest option
wait so the NZXT fun hub comes with included fan splitters?
Yes
I was wondering. I have the Mai b550-a pro and idk if it has the 3 pin rgb headers? Are they called jrainbow? I have 2 360 rgb core (one comes with case) so I need to find the connectors and the aio doesn’t need one it uses usb 2.0 and my back fan is non rgb
They can be called Jrainbow
@@TheProvokedPrawn thanks a lot u gained my follow 🫡
Could I connect the fan controller to the nzxt splitter hub instead of directly into the mobo?
so if want to have in a h6 flow 9 rgb fans including a kraken aio and want them synced, i have to use both the hub and controller?
Can I use a fan splitter to connect to the controller hub?
Question so If I buy the fan controller I can use aer rgb fans and f120s on there
thank u so much!!!!!
You're welcome!
Must the RGB Controller be connected Directly to the motherboard or can they be plugged into the USB hub?
i wouldnt recommend.. get the *deepcool CF120*
what do i do if i have 4 f120 fans and only 1 hub with 3 ports?
How can i Connect them in a Asus B550M prime Mobo?
I’ve got 9 NZXT rgb core fans connected to their seperate rgb hubs, each rgb hub is connected to an NZXT internal usb hub that is then connected to the usb header on my mobo. I have full rgb control but I can’t figure out how to control the fan speeds? I can only control the cpu fan speed in CAM but msi afterburner doesn’t doesn’t do anything. Any ideas??
skibi
does the 1-pack come with a controler?
No
Are F120 any good, do they have a good quality?
Pretty good from what I've seen
@@TheProvokedPrawn K, thanks for the info🙏
Make that next video bro!!! Dropped a sub
Thanks
Hello I have a Motherboard that only has 1 Cha_Fan Pin is there a chance that I can buy a splitter for 9 Fans just in that 1 cha_fan pin?
You wouldn't want to run 9 fans on one header. It wouldn't have enough power. You'll need a Powered fan controller
Will these fans work on a Asrock X570 phantom gaming 4 motherboard?
I highly doubt that it won’t work. Besides if it doesn’t you can always return
Please help I can't get my kraken lcd to light up or be detected by cam I have it hooked up to the nzxt controller
Here's my Kraken guide. Make sure you have the wiring logic done correctly th-cam.com/video/Yg031U2dE6o/w-d-xo.html
After start or restart my f120 fans go full speed, any solution?
So do you need a rgb controller for them to work? Because I have the rgb connect to my motherboard. It has rgb ports but the rgb is stuck on green blue and white. And it's not fully on either, theirs only like 4 spots lit up. Please help me.
Does it work now? Have the same prob
@@heleneberg3902 my fans were broken still haven't bought new ones lol
I have 9 nzxt f120 rgb fans in total. 3 from the case, 3 from the aio and 3 seperate fans. So how am i supposed to connect 9 rgb cables to the controller if it only accept 6 cables. T
You can't. You either have to use two controllers or a controller and an RGB controller. It's stupid.
I understand now. Thanks a lot
love you !
You too
hey thank you bro
You're welcome!
So you cant use the rgb without the controler? So i need to have 2 controlers instead of 1 if i want to use 4 of these fans?
My question as well
Just bought the controller and realized it doesn't work with my thermalright rgb 3 pin fans. Great
my front rgb fan dont work i plus them into the nzxt contrtroller ans they run but i dont have rgb can someone help me pls
Can the f120’s link together like the Aer fans can be ?
No
@@TheProvokedPrawn that’s a little disappointing, I’d say the aer fans are superior then
Yeah no I need help please!! I can’t figure out what I need for my build- in terms of fan controllers etc.
Yeah I'm in the same boat.
Japanese shop clerk kept telling me it needs header on motherboard for each fan. I thought weird there is a controller but only for RGB. oh well amazon then
What if a have 5fans?
dumb question: can i connect this fan to my corsair rgb panel and still change the colouring?
Panel?
Hello very useful video i thank you very much Hello very useful video i thank you very much. 🙂 Nzxt h9 elite case will be me one. Nzxt 120 duo fans mounted. How to connect 10 rgbs Fans? I will have an msi z790 tomahawk wifi motherboard. Can you make a video of such specs?? Sorry if it's incomprehensible, I'm writing with a translator. I don't know English, but I've signed up and follow your work. Unfortunately, my native language does not have such a detailed or even no video or description of it at all. Thank you very much if you can help. I wish you all the best.
too many wires...i like the lego blocks of D30 from phanteks, it makes the fans look so clean when multiples are installed...
Does anyone know why I can't control the f140 core rgb fans by pwm? left alone at fixed speed
Have you set the header to PWM in the bios?
@@TheProvokedPrawn Yes, I even have noctua PWM fans and they work. The F140 Core turn on, I can change the rgb but I don't see the RPM, I can't change the speeds either
NZXT really should just include the large fan/rgb controller with their devices instead of the smaller 3 fan version. makes no sense!!
It's common practice. Corsair do the same. They want you to spend more on the controller.
@@TheProvokedPrawn well i caved and bought it. 😂 oh well.
@@mikeisl33t it makes life easier than trying to use multiple RGB controllers and fan headers 👍🏼
I got a rgb nzxt 120ml fan and it only has one wire. The fan spins but rgb doesn’t work. Any fix?
Can you mix nzxt fans with other branded fans? I owned the be quiet 360 aio and thinking of buying 2 of these nzxt fans (140mm) to complete my build (hyte y40). Can I sync the lights?
i dont think u can sync the lights, i have lian li fans with 3 nzxt fans
If u do get two separate brand fans u might need a sata cable splitter if u wanna plug in another rgb controller to the rgb or just get fan splitter. I have a nzxt 360 aio and the rgb don’t come on unless I get another splitter for another rgb controller
😄👍
Hahahaha take that MeatyKeyboard
I bought 2 fans but separately in packs of one, so there is no RGB controller, what should I do?
Does the rbg controler come with the h7 flow rgb
