I love this guy singing Reservoir. He was so ready and he killed it. If ever I got to choose my 15 minutes of fame, this wouldn't be a bad way to go about it.
I loved the disclaimer at the beginning about how important it was to know ALL of the lyrics XD It was so much fun to watch, he matched their energy so well!
Jonathan’s performance has some serious ‘Davey Havok 1999 era’ energy. And I mean that as best possible compliment. It’s such an oddly heartwarming moment. Thanks PUP!

I'm 41. Punk has been the soundtrack of my soul since I was 13 in 1995. Of all te bands I've ever loved, Pup is my favorite. Menzingers are not far behind. I had pretty much given up on new punk bands being any good years ago, but then those two bands found me. Fantastic live. Would love to catch them IRL. I'd probably b the oldest guy in the room though.
Same here, mostly lol. Mid 40s, punk since early 90s, still the majority of what I listen to. I've seen the Menzingers live 5 or 6 times now, always an amazing show. I got (really) into PUP a couple years ago, but haven't seen them live. Punk shows are often a great mix of young and old though!
I hadn't even heard of them before my friend asked me to go to their concert with him. So the first time I heard them was live and it was amazing - I doubt studio would ever be as good as live with this band
It’s 12:40am right now and I’m in arizona, i barely turned 17 a few days ago. I’ve known about pup for a while now, no idea how many years but i dont care. For my birthday, I always said I wanted to go to a pup concert, still havent gone because of covid and they aren’t touring any time soon. I hope to see them live one day. : )
So glad I got to experience a smaller PUP gig like this. They're getting a lot bigger which is great but the last few gigs of theirs I've been to does not come close to how amazing a gig like this is
This has me in tears once again, but for different reasons than before. Live music is definitely the thing that I miss the most from my pre-pandemic life. I struggle and doubt everyday, wondering if I should keep my hopes alive of getting that life back or focusing on getting used to this instead. I believe live music is an important part of who I am but, ¿does identity really matter at all in a diseased and burning world? ¿can we change out of our most ingrained pleasures and desires? :(
I'm at moderately high risk for covid complications and just this month went to my first show in almost two years (first time doing anything other than going to the doctor, really). It was amazing and I think it's more important than ever to grasp the parts of our identity that makes us good people and connect with others. Too little of that led us to our current situation and we're going to have to fight like hell to keep the fires from burning that away. Your comment resonated with me and I really hope you're finding a way to do well and keep fighting.
Probably out of the question to ask for the CBC to just dedicate a team to follow and do this for all their shows yeah? Can it still happen anyway please?
I love Pup but I feel like the show I saw in Buffalo last February and this concert kind of confirms they are doing some kind of audio catfishing. Of course recordings and shows are going to sound different but still it’s very noticeable. Don’t shoot me.

Talk about stepping up to the moment. Must have been a great show with so many hardcore fans in the room.
The band seemed so about it as well. Just like “damn this guys energy”

Jonathan and PUP reunion tour, when?
If I don't ever see this band live, my life will be incomplete.
