Yah- i saw him in concert and he just stands there holding that mic stand. No real between song banter with the crowd either, but he sticks around to talk with fans. He's great!!

I got into him to late. Did catch him play at the patio of The Gene Autry Museum. I was sitting on the ledge of a flower bed about five feet from him through what was a great show in Griffith Park in Los Angeles. It was The Blues Funeral tour.
This guy was lucky to have a great band backing him...seems like he always caught a break through his musical career to expose and bring out his elements and traits. Phenomenal performance.
I saw him with this lineup in 2012, it will remain with me forever.

Funny fact: This was originally written on a drum machine, a TR808. It was then adapted to live drums and quite well executed, I must say.
