I was just hired as the project manager for an international non-profit and they've just implemented Asana a couple months back. I've never used Asana (Trello, for me), and it appears that neither have they. This video will go a long way in helping me introduce some organization to a group of introverted artists.
It would be nice to see actual case studies from two screens instead of theory. There are so many questions raised about privacy and what the other team members are seeing. Privacy, etc.
Hello! I have the free version of Asana. Can I not put sections in my projects or is that a feature that is only for the paying subscription. For the life of me I thought I was able to do that once by mistake but I forget how I did it. Thank you for your help.
How do I put 15 mins, 30 mins, 1 hour or so tags (traffic light) like you showed in another vid for managing and sorting "my tasks" in the organization account of asana? Also is it possible to have private/personal project instead of a task in my tasks? Also, Is organization account also availabe for free? I love and really enjoy your video. Hands down the best!
You can click on the task menu (the three dots) and there is an option to add tags. Or you can use the keyboard shortcut, Tab + T. You can't really add projects to your MyTasks. The point of the page is that it shows tasks assigned to you. Yes, organisations are free! 😀

Also a video on how to smoothly transition your team from a workspace to new organization account. These two aspects of asana are super confusing. It will help me for sure to make informed well educated decisions as I am just starting out a business.
After adding project tasks from current project to meeting or new tasks made during meeting, do you delete them from meeting project afterwards once they have their home in their actual project? (Sorry if that was wordy, hope you get it haha)
I need help with setting days before a task is due. Like 3 days before. Two days before a task is due. Is there away to set up task or notifications before a task is due? I want to create a template for every system we have in our business
Hi Michelle, probably the best thing to do is to use the Start Date (requires premium). This is a way of being reminded when a task needs to be started.
@@minor-co Asana offered only Finish to Start relationship is there a way i can assign other relationships like Finish to Finish, Start to Finish & Start to Start among tasks? i don't find these in Asana.

You can even on the free version. Check that you have the 'Group by' option set to sections first.

You could do. Or you could leave them there if you want to keep them part of the meeting notes.

There may be a 3rd party migration tool that can help but I'm not sure sorry

I'm afraid not. As you mentioned, it only supports finish to start dependencies at this time.
How are organizations using Asana and JIRA?
I'm not really sure about Jira I'm afraid.
