I really like how you teach, you leave it up to the individual & you go slow enough to follow, im a beginner & was able to follow this lesson very well
So glad that when I input this song into the search bar that it steered me towards Mark The Guitar Guy. Love this guy and how he teaches. Keeps me inspired to continue on my journey to be able to play songs that take others back to a time in their lives and get them singing and reminiscing.
Love your lessons - Yes, I'm having a blast playing along. Keep them coming! I'm starting to transition between chords much smoother now. I was trying too hard, pressing the chords too hard. Your programming method works well. Thanks!
Hi Mark ! How you do? Is a great versión congrats!!! Great Channel! And I Have request could you please do your versión of A-ha song ‘Stay On These Roads’ I would really listen your version! Thank you so much !
Thank you for the comment my friend… I tend to only do songs that I’ve either heard of all that a lot of people are requesting but I’ll check this one out I love Aha!
And quick problem: I don't know where is this come from, but when i play for an hour, maybe a little more - my right hand is like a "dead body". This "paralize - not - enough - blood feeling". You have the same, when You play acoustic? Is there a way to avoid that? Maybe playing with a stand position wil help? What do You suggest?
My opinion: 1. The guitar squeezes your nerve, not your vein. 2. The guitar might be to small or to big 3. You may change your sitting position, try another chair and a Straight back. 4 . Do you stress yourself to reach the strings or keep the rythm? This may cause an uncomfortable position for your arm. 5. As a beginner I highly recommend not to start with a difficult tutorial like this, you can find much easier lessons for this song on YT (doesnt mean its a bad tutorial) 6. I never had this prolem 7. Sorry for my english
I would love some videos where you just play the song all the way thru after you show all the chords and strumming patterns. It would be very helpful to be able to play along. Thank you.
hii mark i have one question when we are play c major chord we press the 1 string note (f sharp) note but some time its mute so it is ok to play the c chords by using 6 string (f sharp) plz reply its important
I wish you would have played it through once - just so I could follow. The clips of the strumming pattern are too short. It sounds like there's a syncopation in there, but I can't quite catch it.
Respectfully, try to talk slower and be more clear, more consumable. Internet is full of ESL folks who don't understand what you're saying. Currently the video doesn't explain the pattern well.

Hello, I wonder Why you don’t play the song in the original tone ? How to play this one with your chords but in the original tone : a capo ? Thanks.
8:18 Skip here if you want to get straight to the chord progression
Is this strumming pattern a bar and a half? I’m getting DDuuDDuu as one bar then DDu as half a bar?

The strumming pattern is a bar and a half? DDuuDDuu being one bar and DDu being a half bar?
how did you study guitar. ?
Mark, quick question - what size have your strings? (did i write it right? :p)

awesome. By the way, you are like a cross between wolverine, Arnold Schwartzenneger, and Clint Eastwood.
Damn! That strumming pattern is tough! I feel like a runaway train.
