For the theory of how people look when they die, I personally think that they are not so much as CHANGED into their "Demonic" or "Heavenly" forms when they die as they are simply taking the shape of their soul. That perhaps that when you die, shedding your mortal body shows who you really are and it has a lot of variety since no two souls are going to be absolutely the same. You can see as the soul of the client here, Mrs. Mayberry was a very good woman and kind teacher RIGHT until her murder and violence so you can see she is still very humanoid with just some horns and a tail so that was more of one grave sin rather than a lifetime. Meanwhile, characters like Angeldust or Husk from Hazbin are farther along in looking less far less human as they had long lives transforming their souls and repeating patterns of sin. But that does not mean I believe the souls of heaven still look FULLY human. From what designs I have seen of the angels that do the purge of demons each year, they too have horns and long, kind of creepy bodies. Here is where I think a person spends their lifetime cultivating the shape of their soul that they will take true form upon death BUT where they end up is based upon a kind of broken system that packs more people away in hell than actually deserve to be. For that, I am of the belief that there could be souls in Heaven who look very much like Angeldust or just as offputting but still deemed as divinely good and holy based on this system they have.
Makes a lot of sense, kinda of like our mortal forms are just masks for what is growing underneath. When that mask is removed (death) everything about that person is on display. The form underneath the mask is also more malleable, examples being the teachers change from a good person into a demon in less than a few minutes because of rage, or in the case of Alastor where it takes the form of shape shifting to match how much he wants to show of his true self.
They missed a GOLDEN opportunity, when Blitzo said he's "busy not trying to get it in my A", to have Stolas say something to the affect of "that's my job", or "Oh your with someone?".

Alastor was a serial killer that hid bodies of his victims in fields used for deer hunting, and he has deer-like traits. It's been suggested the characters that are cyclops had overwhelming obsessions in life, so now the single eye represents their narrowed focus. (so far mainly seen them in Hazbin Hotel) Cherri Bomb is obsessed with bombs Nifty- is obsessed with cleaning (assumed to be focused on housework in general) and men.
hmmm, this "Martha" prefers a shotgun has glowing red eyes and sharp pointy teeth and happens to be a serial killer... if I didn't know any better I would assume Martha was related to Alastor
Not to mention, she has the trades of both a cannibal (organs, bones and human skins for house decor. Almost like a scene straight from Texas Chainsaw Massacre) and a voodoo practitioner (burning stake and that passionate declaration to Satan).
I’ve rewatched this episode multiple times and I’m still noticing things around the family’s house, a lamp made from someone’s spine, a hand hanging out of the fridge, a kids head on a mantle, just to name a few.

12:45 Okay, my personal theory on what Stolas' mysterious 'Job' is (which also happens to explain why all the people IMP kill don't come looking for them down in Hell for revenge): The Book that I.M.P. is using is actually a Soul-Taker. When a demon uses the Book to travel to the human world, any human that demon kills has their soul trapped in the book. Stolas's job is to go to human world and collect souls, which is why he seems to have no problem with Blitzo and Co. using it; they're pretty much doing Stolas's job for him. Likely the reason Stolas wants the Book back once a month is to extract the souls that I.M.P. have been (perhaps unknowingly) collecting for him.

Well, according to Wikipedia, Stolas is "a Great Prince of Hell, commands twenty-six legions of demons. He teaches astronomy and is knowledgeable about herbs, plants, and precious stones. He is often depicted as a raven or a crowned owl with long legs." So, I'm not sure exactly how a book that allows him to access the mortal realm works with that, but it does explain the astrology theme of the bathroom. Perhaps the "night of the full moon" has something to do with it? Maybe something about altering constellations, and impacting horoscopes?
Regarding Prince Stolas's job, since in the original demonology he governs astronomy, I suppose he has a similar job in this universe, too. Plus, even his bathroom is star-themed, showing more of his astronomy connections. Plus, his daughter Octavia has a lot of star patterns on her clothes, too.
But if he governs astronomy, why would he need a book to access the mortal world to do his job? And if we recall the pilot, his chat with Blitzo hints that he's involved in some shady politics as well. Maybe his job's different in VivzieVerse Hell?
@@Anino_Makata Well, since Stolas does say he had been given the book for his job, my assumption is that Lucifer is the one that gave this option and duties to other members of Hell aristocracy. But generally from both the aesthetic the crew gave him, he definitely seems to follow the astronomy vibe. Also I suppose we will learn more in ep 2, since it was announced on twitter that it is coming out soon, and Octavia is there too.
from what i understand, there's 2 types of denizens of hell. there's the sinners and the demons. people like charlie, loona, and the imps are demons, they were born in hell, and people like angel, alastor, vaggie, and mrs. mayberry are sinners, people who were once human and went to hell after dying.

In an interview, Vivziepop clarified that the appearance of demons in hell is a reflection of how they felt in their last moments of life. for example *Alastor* who in his last moments of life felt like a deer, therefore he has deer horns and ears. (Because he was being hunted down, and his past/backstory when he was alive doesn't please him at all.)

Humans change into certain types of demons when they die and are sent hell. Angel Dust, or Anthony, was a human. He died from drug overdose in 1947, and upon arriving in hell, he became a Spider demon. His father and big brother are also spider demons, Angel's fraternal twin sister, Molly, is the odd one out. According to her wiki page, she's a spider humanoid and does not reside in hell. I guess form depends on what they may have liked when alive or else its hereditary, or the form suits your personality. I don't know, I do know that the I.M.P. crew are imps, therefore they were never human, they, like Charlie and Loona, (yes, that's how they spell her name) are hell born or born in hell.

"What kind of family is this?".. out of nearly 15-17 or so reactions to the pilot that I've seen, only about 3 other people have noticed the human head on the wall at this early point. But there are other clues too. Back in the "SHE's NOT A HERO!" montage, when they showed her in bed having s-x, there is the rather questionable wallpaper... instead of flowers, it's of human pelvic bone. At 8:30 - many people see the spine lamp with "questionable lampshade", but many miss something in the background right before the "Alright kids, guns out!" we can see an open fridge behind Martha (mom) and reason why it can't close is there is a human arm hanging out. There's another thing some miss, when Martha is holding the torch, she directs her "prayer" to Satan and says "may your root of evil remained honored as we continue thy work!" ... so not only are the serial killing cannibals but Satanists as well. And I think that influences their forms. As you noted, they have pointed teeth and red eyes. At first I thought this was just a artistic style to show how evil the family was, esp with how Martha goes from having nice styled hair and clothes to disheveled look- clothes are ragged/ripped and hair no longer soft but jagged. But after 6 episodes we have not seen any other humans depicted in same way. So I have to wonder, did their satan worshiping cause them to start to transform before they died? Another thing about Martha's change - her earrings, before they were chunky turquoise triangles even when she captures Blitzo but at the bonfire they are suddenly white skulls, one is a bird skull,

Maybe I'm remembering wrong, but you seemed to find this first episode a lot funnier than the pilot; you were just /breaking/ every two minutes. XD Stolas is a Goetic demon you can summon to help with stuff, his specialties being plants and astronomy. I'm not sure how existing legend/myth/occult beliefs are gonna be folded into the lore of Helluva and Hazbin, though. As to how they change, there was that poor b------ that fell into Hell in the beginning of the Hazbin pilot, delightedly crying out "I'm alive!" while looking at his new demon body, only to immediately be turned into hamburger by getting run over by Travis, Angel's john. The fact that he was so happy when looking at his no longer human body raises some questions, like was he just not registering it in that moment? Probably a 'Rule of Funny', stop asking questions, kind of thing. I do wonder how 'death' works in Hell, since Viv has said that the only things that can make you permadead are angelic weapons. Is it painful healing and regeneration like Wolverine, but slower, or do you respawn somewhere else like a video game? I lean more toward the painful option, because it's Hell. So what about getting eaten? If that doesn't make you permadead, and it's regenerate instead of respawn...uhhhhhhhhh.
It does make one question how it works. Though one of my biggest question would be how those that turned into sinners know how Hell works and get the money to do stuff
My guess on the death thing is that they heal quickly, but anything that actually kills their body leads to a full respawn. I like to think power in Hell works like a game with hardcore PVP rules. You spend the entire afterlife gaining experience any way you can: deals, killing, cannibalism, etc. But if someone kills you, they take all your exp. and you have to start over at level one, or at least with greatly reduced power depending on if there's a way to retain some power after a full respawn.
I'm alive had the meaning that he survived that day. The only day deamons can actually die. So he's not a fresh deamon even it looked like he felt into hell.

So from what I understood in Hazbin Hotel....in Hell, your appearance changes based on certain things while you were alive. The school teacher at the start was pretty much the same as she was while she was alive minus the demon horns and tail and i think she only had minor changes because she led a good life until that happened. The more sinful of a life you led, the more you changed i believe.
From what I gather from the lore of Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel's Heaven & Hell, you change once you arrive. Depending on how you were and how you died defines what you will be. A more violent person will have a more beastly appearance where as a passive person will have more of a humanoid appearance. Pretty cool concept if you are making your own OC as you have to ask yourself how does the OC act and what killed them if you wish to be more accurate about making them.
@@Luchrised Also, Stolas is based upon his real life demonology lore which is a prince of Hell that is knowledgeable of Astronomy, gems, and plants. Humans tend to summon him to gain insight on those subjects from him in exchange for favors, tasks, and so on.

The chainsaw might've been just to bust into their bedroom if the door wasn't unlocked, or something, Intimidation too, You don't really try and get close to a running chainsaw blade, There's no, "SURPRISE I wrestle the gun outta your hands", with an active chainsaw, more likely to be "surprise and whoops I still lost some fingers and an ear and now you're going to finish cause surprise its hard to take advantage on a chainsaw from the front" But Then She shoots her and he saws she had a family, and then she shoots him, apologizes to the children, tells them to work on their times tables, and shoots herself. Its Media likely doesn't know that she was having an affair with the woman's husband, and potentially, could wind up under the impression that Martha tried to stop the teacher from killing "a man" (that just so happened to be revealed as the teacher's husband) and was injured in the process of trying to subdue the teacher. Thus, As not only a Survivor but also a "good citizen" trying to stop a "Crazy from murdering" She's a hero. but without the extra context, to the viewer it just sounds like out of nowhere, treated as hero.

12:45 Okay, my personal theory on what Stolas' mysterious 'Job' is (which also happens to explain why all the people IMP kill don't come looking for them down in Hell for revenge): The Book that I.M.P. is using is actually a Soul-Taker. When a demon uses the Book to travel to the human world, any human that demon kills has their soul trapped in the book. Stolas's job is to go to human world and collect souls, which is why he seems to have no problem with Blitzo and Co. using it; they're pretty much doing Stolas's job for him. Likely the reason Stolas wants the Book back once a month is to extract the souls that I.M.P. have been (perhaps unknowingly) collecting for him.
Hmmm....my curiosity grow!

So, I'm not sure exactly how a book that allows him to access the mortal realm works with that, but it does explain the astrology theme of the bathroom. Perhaps the "night of the full moon" has something to do with it? Maybe something about altering constellations, and impacting horoscopes?

Regarding Prince Stolas's job, since in the original demonology he governs astronomy, I suppose he has a similar job in this universe, too. Plus, even his bathroom is star-themed, showing more of his astronomy connections. Plus, his daughter Octavia has a lot of star patterns on her clothes, too.
But if he governs astronomy, why would he need a book to access the mortal world to do his job? And if we recall the pilot, his chat with Blitzo hints that he's involved in some shady politics as well. Maybe his job's different in VivzieVerse Hell?
@@Anino_Makata Well, since Stolas does say he had been given the book for his job, my assumption is that Lucifer is the one that gave this option and duties to other members of Hell aristocracy. But generally from both the aesthetic the crew gave him, he definitely seems to follow the astronomy vibe. Also I suppose we will learn more in ep 2, since it was announced on twitter that it is coming out soon, and Octavia is there too.

In an interview, Vivziepop clarified that the appearance of demons in hell is a reflection of how they felt in their last moments of life. for example *Alastor* who in his last moments of life felt like a deer, therefore he has deer horns and ears. (Because he was being hunted down, and his past/backstory when he was alive doesn't please him at all.)
Correct me if I'm wrong, wasn't there a dog involved in Alastor' s death? Also which stream did she say this in , I'd like to check it out

Humans change into certain types of demons when they die and are sent hell. Angel Dust, or Anthony, was a human. He died from drug overdose in 1947, and upon arriving in hell, he became a Spider demon. His father and big brother are also spider demons, Angel's fraternal twin sister, Molly, is the odd one out. According to her wiki page, she's a spider humanoid and does not reside in hell. I guess form depends on what they may have liked when alive or else its hereditary, or the form suits your personality. I don't know, I do know that the I.M.P. crew are imps, therefore they were never human, they, like Charlie and Loona, (yes, that's how they spell her name) are hell born or born in hell.

"What kind of family is this?".. out of nearly 15-17 or so reactions to the pilot that I've seen, only about 3 other people have noticed the human head on the wall at this early point. But there are other clues too.
Back in the "SHE's NOT A HERO!" montage, when they showed her in bed having s-x, there is the rather questionable wallpaper... instead of flowers, it's of human pelvic bone.
At 8:30 - many people see the spine lamp with "questionable lampshade", but many miss something in the background right before the "Alright kids, guns out!" we can see an open fridge behind Martha (mom) and reason why it can't close is there is a human arm hanging out.
There's another thing some miss, when Martha is holding the torch, she directs her "prayer" to Satan and says "may your root of evil remained honored as we continue thy work!" ... so not only are the serial killing cannibals but Satanists as well.
And I think that influences their forms.
As you noted, they have pointed teeth and red eyes. At first I thought this was just a artistic style to show how evil the family was, esp with how Martha goes from having nice styled hair and clothes to disheveled look- clothes are ragged/ripped and hair no longer soft but jagged.
But after 6 episodes we have not seen any other humans depicted in same way. So I have to wonder, did their satan worshiping cause them to start to transform before they died?
Another thing about Martha's change - her earrings, before they were chunky turquoise triangles even when she captures Blitzo but at the bonfire they are suddenly white skulls, one is a bird skull,

Maybe I'm remembering wrong, but you seemed to find this first episode a lot funnier than the pilot; you were just /breaking/ every two minutes. XD
Stolas is a Goetic demon you can summon to help with stuff, his specialties being plants and astronomy. I'm not sure how existing legend/myth/occult beliefs are gonna be folded into the lore of Helluva and Hazbin, though.
As to how they change, there was that poor b------ that fell into Hell in the beginning of the Hazbin pilot, delightedly crying out "I'm alive!" while looking at his new demon body, only to immediately be turned into hamburger by getting run over by Travis, Angel's john.
The fact that he was so happy when looking at his no longer human body raises some questions, like was he just not registering it in that moment? Probably a 'Rule of Funny', stop asking questions, kind of thing.
I do wonder how 'death' works in Hell, since Viv has said that the only things that can make you permadead are angelic weapons. Is it painful healing and regeneration like Wolverine, but slower, or do you respawn somewhere else like a video game? I lean more toward the painful option, because it's Hell. So what about getting eaten? If that doesn't make you permadead, and it's regenerate instead of respawn...uhhhhhhhhh.
It does make one question how it works. Though one of my biggest question would be how those that turned into sinners know how Hell works and get the money to do stuff
hmmm, so many questions...so LITTLE time.
My guess on the death thing is that they heal quickly, but anything that actually kills their body leads to a full respawn. I like to think power in Hell works like a game with hardcore PVP rules. You spend the entire afterlife gaining experience any way you can: deals, killing, cannibalism, etc. But if someone kills you, they take all your exp. and you have to start over at level one, or at least with greatly reduced power depending on if there's a way to retain some power after a full respawn.
I'm alive had the meaning that he survived that day. The only day deamons can actually die. So he's not a fresh deamon even it looked like he felt into hell.
Finally, most of all I was waiting for your reaction, and although I don't know English well, I still understand everything you say. Thanks to you and your videos, I am improving my listing. Keep up the good work and I wish you more than a million subscribers

So from what I understood in Hazbin Hotel....in Hell, your appearance changes based on certain things while you were alive. The school teacher at the start was pretty much the same as she was while she was alive minus the demon horns and tail and i think she only had minor changes because she led a good life until that happened. The more sinful of a life you led, the more you changed i believe.

From what I gather from the lore of Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel's Heaven & Hell, you change once you arrive. Depending on how you were and how you died defines what you will be. A more violent person will have a more beastly appearance where as a passive person will have more of a humanoid appearance. Pretty cool concept if you are making your own OC as you have to ask yourself how does the OC act and what killed them if you wish to be more accurate about making them.

The chainsaw might've been just to bust into their bedroom if the door wasn't unlocked, or something, Intimidation too, You don't really try and get close to a running chainsaw blade, There's no, "SURPRISE I wrestle the gun outta your hands", with an active chainsaw, more likely to be "surprise and whoops I still lost some fingers and an ear and now you're going to finish cause surprise its hard to take advantage on a chainsaw from the front"
But Then She shoots her and he saws she had a family, and then she shoots him, apologizes to the children, tells them to work on their times tables, and shoots herself.
Its Media likely doesn't know that she was having an affair with the woman's husband, and potentially, could wind up under the impression that Martha tried to stop the teacher from killing "a man" (that just so happened to be revealed as the teacher's husband) and was injured in the process of trying to subdue the teacher.
Thus, As not only a Survivor but also a "good citizen" trying to stop a "Crazy from murdering" She's a hero. but without the extra context, to the viewer it just sounds like out of nowhere, treated as hero.

So they will almost always need an explanation they understand to think of somebody as a "hero", and while you can just explain it vaguely with the event being her surviving a "bad person", those are smart children and I dont see a way of explaining it to them without them understanding, or even assuming that was the event their teacher was in- It is a traumatic experience, and it's probably going to be a fresh thought in their mind for years, finding all sorts of ways to jump in. Also, why am I writing paragraphs about this?
