Hi Sir, question lang about early bolting.
1st time ko kasi na experience mag plant ng summer and around 30 to 34 degrees ang temp even with shading ang normal samin. And ang seed na ginamit ko yung nabibili sa grocery that only state green lettuce, probably grand rapids or lollo bionda based lang sa picture. Any suggestion on how to prevent early bolting (bolting 15days after transplant) based sa scenario ko po? And do you still sell them po?

sir reden, paano po ang tamang post harvest procedure...parati kasi kaming nabubulukan nang lettuce...yung farm kasi namin mga 120km from the city, so i travel pa namin nang mga 2.5 hrs....tapos yung customer namin is hindi pa ganon ka dami, kadalasan po aabot pa nang mga 5 days bago pa ma dispose talaga lahat nang lettuce...doon kami nagkaproblema...3-4 days palang sira sira na ang lettuce..
practice namin ngayon is:
1. from farm to city, we are using styroboxes tapos nilalagyan namin nang konting ice.
2. before namin i lagay sa styroboxes is binabanlawan muna namin nang tubig ang lettuce
3. while waiting for customer, nilalagay namin sa chiller...tapos yung hindi magkasya is nasa styrobox parin.
