@@yoyleb1711 I rode in a Comeng on the Craigieburn line this morning to get to work. They are still the most comfortable train type to sit in. Far better than the siemens or the Xtrapolis. Haven't been on an HCMT yet, because they don't come up Craigieburn or Upfield.

The beepers on the COMENG trains were added by Alstom and EDI in the late 1990s/early 2000s and they had no door closing audio warning before that! :)
