I never thought that I would see a Japanese railway crossing on this channel, but here we are. It's incredible to see the similarities and differences from the crossings in Australia and other countries.

If you are in South Australia, you can do many abandoned railway crossings, I recommend doing the Grand Junction Road level crossing in the suburb of Rosewater, abandoned in 2010

Having lived in Japan for five years, it’s unusual to see the lights go out, the gates rise yet the bells continue on. What usually happens is that on the newer setups, the bells and lights cut out then the gates rise. Incandescents are also pretty rare nowadays.
