Fantastic review. I’m absolutely obsessed with this bike. I have 4 other bikes much higher CC, and at times up to 9. This bike always remains my favourite. The value for money is crazy. It’s a humble bike and one that has sold apparently the most around the world.
Cheap buy in, cheap registration, cheap insurance, cheap maintenance and cheap on fuel. I guess I’m a cheap guy or, as I like to think a guy who appreciates value. Yet it’s fun to ride, super reliable, comfortable, amazing range, super light weight, narrow to get through traffic or doors to park, and personally I really like the design in person more than what videos and pictures show.
I can’t think of a better way to commute. I also like that it’s air cooled having less that can go wrong. Tubeless tyres. Centre stand which is really helpful for putting on petrol, maintenance and takes up less space when parking in the garage.
I regularly take mine on day trips and it makes for a real adventure, it can do it all… just slowly. It has LED front light that really does a good job beyond the price would suggest. I’m rambling, I said I was obsessed coming from a self confessed motorcycle enthusiast.

I have this motorcycle - same colour too. Believe me it's a super, well behaved learner bike, so forgiving as well. I'm a 77 yo 'born again' motorcyclist.
Greeting mate from the brown bastard country, down under. Melbourne Victoria.
Weather wise it's much better here, but ! - you have such pleasant country roads, back roads, B roads, whatever. Enjoyed your narration of the Honda CB125F. - I have owned mine for only 9 months, only 1060 kms on the clock, the wee engine has freed up a tad, and the gearshift is slicker than a greasy pig now. A bonza motorcycle for commutes, only sips petrol, at first thought the fuel gauge wasn't working properly. Petrol here in Melbourne is about $1.75 per litre. About 85 pence in your money, this machine is more frugal than an electric bicycle .
Stay safe, take care out there mate. 😊
Over here, you go for your m/cycle licence, once achieved, you can purchase a 'learner approved m/cycle' - meaning power to weight ratio machine. Which would include for example. Royal Enfield Hunter 350, or equiv. Honda 350 etc etc. I simply wanted a smallish bike for around the suburbs, 60 - 80 km/hr is just fine for me. (35 - 50 mph)
Bought the wee beastie new for $4200 (2100 English Quid)
    😊 😊 😊
