……..Always and forever, thank you to Great Britain and the British people whose creativity since the 1960s, has given the rest of the World hundreds of prodigious bands such as the Cure and music of unparalleled beauty, quirkiness and atmosphere. What would our lives have been without British bands?
Little Kobold . All good hard working historic bands, But The British simply bring more abundance of high quality music consistently over the years, so much so, that British musicians are highly taxed by the government. & many make the decision to simply live & work in the U.S instead.
Fabuleux le solo guitare de Robert, il est aussi l’un des plus grands guitaristes au monde… quelle puissance ce morceau à en avoir des frissons à chaque écoute 🖤
that guitar has 24 frets & Mr Smith went up to the 30th fret, such an under rated guitarist fucking amazing. best cure song ever. blew my mind when i first heard it 34 years ago & still blows my mind today!!!!!!
I love the sound of Robert's guitar in this version. I love the echo and sustain that creates layer upon layer of seething guitar licks until it melts down into the vocals dripping with hate.
The tour version in ‘87 was incredible. The band stood behind a massive lip curtain talking, it went dark then disappeared then the band smashed into Kiss. An amazing gig. Good times
Always this unic and special hauting sound of The CURE and love the love the voice of Robert Smith getting better and always better on creation and performances on stage after all these years of experience (more than 40 years of career !). Respect. He's still a free mind, citizen not subject ! Don't let it end boss ! A true fan of The CURE since I was à teenager ! Friendly from France
Rob Smith was always one of the coolest guys out there and one personality i can relate is several ways despite me being more of Goth Doom Metal player also got to give him my respects and credits for have never changed and image and for staying loyal to his true identity for so many decades .. that is a cool Guitar model Btw Rob does reminds me of my Black Double cut Les paul and my Black SG🤘 i also do love that bass Player, he is Underrated too
I was lucky enough to be at this show. It was so fantastic that I didn’t mind getting a nosebleed in the middle. If you’re going to have gore dripping down your mouth then it might as well be at a Cure gig and, since they played for over three hours, it didn’t matter that I spent 20 minutes with my head tilted back (possibly freaking out the folks behind us). This song and 'Push' were the highlights but it was all superb - possibly the best of the eight Cure shows I've seen.
Yes it could. The album version is a million times better and kicks this version into the undergrowth. In fact I have never heard them play a decent live version of this.
I would like to KISS you all the time Robert Smith of The CURE ! Wow these great musicians ! (11 mars 2022) we need The CURE for NO more wars. PEACE ON EARTH !
Robert just rips it up .............................Magical .....He crushes it ...............who else loves this ........................That guitar lead is extortionary........to do that in front of thousands ........insane
Woef that's the one I play on guitar...Robert was on another plane of existence those two nights. I've been watching that DVD over and over again since I was 6
Love it! Robert’s playing here reminds me a lot of when he lets loose in the live in Japan version of 100 Years around the 5:25-6:45 section, just epic
That is so true about music; the UK punches far above its weight! How can an island on its own have produced all these sounds and genres and youth movements! The creativity and originality that emanates from GB is unsurpassed and its not just in music but fashion and innovation too (No I'm not paid by the Tourist Agency!). Much of the time the roots of certain genres of music come from somewhere else but then GB does something magical to it and spews it back out to the rest of the world to enjoy in a somewhat different form!
The performance of Robert Smith is breathtaking ! Wow ! The older he grows, the better he is !
Magic!
Maybe the greatest intro in R&R history.

A la base ce morceau est déjà une dinguerie, mais là, ça depasse
l'entendement, la perf de Robert est juste énorme. Ce mec est un génie!
Robert para mim, é um " ser humano" fenomenal 💋💋💋
I still love the haunting sound of The CURE and the riff of the guitars of Robert Smith. And I always will. The CURE forever and ever.
never really listened to The Cure and now thanks to You Tube..I am hooked...LOVE THE SHIT OUT OF THE CURE...OH BABY!!!
that guitar has 24 frets & Mr Smith went up to the 30th fret, such an under rated guitarist fucking amazing. best cure song ever. blew my mind when i first heard it 34 years ago & still blows my mind today!!!!!!
I think a lot of people underestimate the guitar contributions he brought to the band. Anything flashy is always credited to Pearl.
This version of The Kiss takes my breath away ! Timeless band now. One of the greatest band : The CURE !!!!
This is amazing isn’t it? Absolutely mesmerising ❤️❤️🥰🥰🥰🥰
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I love the sound of Robert's guitar in this version. I love the echo and sustain that creates layer upon layer of seething guitar licks until it melts down into the vocals dripping with hate.

So good to see Robert Smith enjoying himself playing on his guitar ! He seems to be so happy and proud ! He can !!!!

1987 Frankfurt kiss me kiss me kiss me What a beautiful performance
Wow - just realised that the epic guitar riff at the start is actually the bass guitar.
The Kiss has some of the most iconic album art.
kendo the riff first time is played by MR SMITH no one else on earth can do this
Such an awesome blast of beautiful sound.
I was there! 🤘🤘
Guitar hero
This is one of my favorite videos.
My youth 30 years ago. My first concert in Brussels at the age of 16. Oh my lord.
Huge! I love Robert’s “wow” at the end 🦇

As much as this version is absolutely amazing, I feel it was a prelude to the Berlin Trilogy Version, which is truly sublime. Either way Kiss Me.
