Ok, so I have this long awaited transcription I was suppose to do like 4 years ago. I really apologize to those who were waiting all this time but as we say; better late than never! I'm sure it will worth the wait. Have fun!

This piece always makes me cry, I don't know why. I think it's sad and at the same time magical. Jesus he was one of the few masters that could make me feel and touch so so deep in the feelings just by hearing his notes, a truly expressive monster.

question: If he is tuned down to C# standard then how is the first note F# on fret 9, A string? Did you write the transcription as it would be played in standard tuning? Thanks so much

Where can I find this recording? Is it on an album or a live performance. The tone is melting me into a puddle of sad/happy butterflies.

So beautiful.....what do the "Pedal" notations mean?

    •  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

It's a bass note that is hold thru a couple of chords/bars. I'm writing it this way to avoid having many ''/A'' or ''/F#'' chords in a row and to remind that the bass note is hold.

How can I access the old transcriptions on patreon like I used to? A lot of them seem to be missing now?

    •  5 ปีที่แล้ว

Hi David, just e-mail me the song you would like and I'll send them to you per e-mail, I had to remove the older transcriptions because a lots of people were taking advantage of the 'Patreon' system, They were subscribing, downloading everything and un-subscribing before getting billed. The older transcriptions are still available for long time Patron but on demand. Thanks!

Are the () notes indicating a harp harmonic?

    •  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, when there's a ◊ above

I could understand it being one pitch off since he turned down, but why three?

    • @owenfield818

Ted Greene tuned his guitars a minor third lower than traditional standard tuning. He preferred the thicker, richer, and more balanced sound that this tuning produced.

@@owenfield818 I must have misheard him then, I thought he said he played 1/2 step lower than pitch. Some clinic I seen the other day.

@@MrDizzyvonclutch from what i’ve heard, most of the time he either played a half step down or a minor third. i think he avoided a whole step tho for some reason.

@@bvnnxtt5081 thanks. Yah, I’m trying to figure out if I should tune my guitar down to c , b, or just use my seven string with this band with a sitar that I joined. And whether to use my nylon or electric... I just can’t figure it out. Maybe I shouldn’t be in a band at all! lol
