    I have owned the CZ 75 PCR for several years...excellent pistol. Many complain about the small sights, but even for my older eyes, I find them fine.

      Thanks for watching and commenting. I also have the PCR. I agree with you, a very fine pistol it is. For "combat" use, the sights are fine. As with you, my eyes are old. These were never intended to be "target" pistols. I also have a CZ75 "Omega". CZ discontinued the Omega but did use the trigger system in later CZ75s, of which I also have one.The trigger pull was lightened just a hair and smoothed. Unfortunately, I don't get any of my CZs to the range as often as I would like.

    • @RangeRoninChronicles
      @RangeRoninChronicles  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@andylastname566 Thanks for your question. I will be coming out with a review on the CZ P10C. With that said, and if I were to stay with the P10 series, I would go for the P-10 F OR; full size, optic-ready, and a 19-round capacity. The P10F OR is, however, a polymer-frame pistol. If I wanted an all steel CZ with optic-ready capability, the SHADOW 2 OR would be my choice. But, now we are heading toward a substantial increase in price, over double that of a P10 F OR. For myself, I could justify the P10F or, but I can't justify the SHADOW 2 OR. But for a person who can, it would be an excellent handgun.

    I have a closely-related unit as my EDC: The PCR. I considered the 75 Compact, but found that small differences in ergonomics (mostly the different decocker lever and the sights my PCR had from the factory) won out.
    I was new to owning pistols a few years ago, and like a lot of folks new to carrying, I was uncomfortable with carrying with a round "in the pipe." The DA/SA trigger got me over that, and my P07 was a great step toward my current EDC piece. I was concerned about a manual safety, as it's one more thing to train to manage, but the DA trigger is a good-enough-for-me reminder that I'm pulling on a trigger, and having my thumb on the hammer when I reholster is a good way to make sure I'm not about to have a negligent discharge into my hip or leg.
    Still, one can't go wrong with a CZ, whether one prefers striker-fired or hammer fired.

    With a Vedder Holster, & a decent belt. Would buy the original, iconic, full size 75 B (easily a top 5 finest handgun ever made) instead. Personally have no problems (IWB) appendix carrying a 75 B, Shadow, VP9, USP9, or XMacro. Live in Florida, so the P365 XMacro is generally the go to..Not because of its smaller size, because of its 17 round capacity. All said, the 75 B (albeit a heavier full size metal frame) is relatively thin compared to most, & rides (again, good belt, Vedder holster) just as well as it’s compact.…But with far better accuracy, trigger, & 16 rounds.

      I love pretty much all cz pistols. Drop the. CGW internals in the pcr and it’s just as good as the 75b trigger wise imo. You can use any size mag you want and get any desired capacity. Winter I carry a mag with TT base plate that holds 23 rounds. My pcr has been milled with 1911 buis plate for rmr cut. Ton of custom work done on it. I did the CGW internals myself. Love DA/SA for ccw. At 6’3” and 205lbs very athletic I can also carry pretty much any pistol I want. I carry a m&p 2.0 4.6 10mm with a tlr1-hl and acro quite a bit as well, always aiwb. The pcr/p01 just has the perfect balance to me. Not a fan of sig and their polymers are duds. To many malfunctions and lack of quality control over all their polymer product lines. Not to mention the testing on customers before it’s ready.

    I have the CZ 75 D compact and CZ 75 P-01 and have been having issues with failure to load on both. Both guns are new, I have maybe maximum 300 rounds through each. I have tried different ammo, and each time I take them to the range, I'm having failure to load issues with both. Yesterday my 75D Compact froze up. It would not fire, so I dropped the magazine, tried pulling the slide to empty the chamber, but the slide was stuck. I pulled the hammer back and tried firing it down range but just got the click of the hammer, I did it a second time and nothing. It finally expelled the round on the third attempt. I thought it was just a fluke, so I put in a different magazine, and after the third shot, the same thing happened. I couldn't even pull the slide back. everything was just stuck.

      Did you ever fix or find out what's wrong? I had same issues with brand new cz75 pcr, and p01 both jamming up with bulk range ammo. Took them apart and both were bone dry. Cleaned and oiled and both are cycling rounds manually but I haven't had them back out to range yet to see if that was the problem. If that doesn't fix I'll either contact cz or polish feed ramp a little

      @@lewisscruggspaintingco.pai1498 I pulled them apart and completely cleaned them, then lightly oiled them where the oil needs to go. I took them to the range and did have one failure to feed, but I think it's because I was pulling the slide back too slow. Once I did it faster, I didn't have an issue. I also didn't have any jams. I only shot about 40 rounds through each, so I want to go back and try again and see how it goes.

      Thanks for watching and commenting. I am disappointed to hear about accuracy issues with your CZ; that is very uncommon of them. It is not a tack driver, but once you get used to the trigger, and with practice, proficiency with it will increase. But, I have pistols that everybody tells me are extremely accurate only to find out that, in my hands, they are not - until I put a lot of rounds through them. I have shot pistols that shoot poorly, but when I hand them off to someone else, they are taking out the X-ring with them.
      I am shooting a different firearm every week. My first range day with a firearm that I have not shot before is more of a familiarization than trying to master the darn thing.
