You should never laugh at someone who actually LEARNS from their mistakes, so we forgive you, Jester. Zegler doesnt learn however, so laugh laugh laugh away! 😄😄😄
Rachel Zegler seems to have a chronic case of Twitter Mouth, where she says inflammatory things but clearly can't deal with the backlash, so I've found it progressively more difficult to feel sorry for her.
Zegler thinks she's still a teenager in high school, where at most, she'll just get a "talking to." The reality of "what you say and what you do reflects on who you are as a person and your future job peospects" hasn't sunk in yet, but it will once the calls stop comming.
Don't apologize for being a good person and trying to see the best in people. Especially in this era of the internet where everyone sees everything as super black and white
No. People DO indeed try to, but the person ALWAYS falls back to the same mistakes, and some even mock the people who are trying to help ...so it makes sense that people don't have patience for people like Zegler...
@@megamegaO some people will inevitably disappoint you, but if you go around expecting perfection from everyone because one person wasted the chances they were given, all you're going to do is make more enemies and grow more indifferent.
@@megamegaO exactly thank you I mean she does the same thing over and over and over it’s basically wash rinse and repeat at this point with her and I hate to be rude, but I really feel like jester gave her way too many chances and sadly there are still people defending her and I don’t know why and when I say her, I mean, Rachel.
@@Leamichellefan2244 I agree. Some people get TOO many undeserved chances. Disney gave her too many chances, but sent Gina Carano to the void, because she politely didn't follow the crazy pronoun trend, and for factually reciting holocaust info...while, Pedro Pascal, and Mark Ruffulo make crazy politically charged posts, and STILL have multi-million dollar jobs....It's totally garbage. Thankfully Gina is suing Disney and the case is still ongoing, hopefully she wins.
The real problem with this version of Snow White is their complete ignorance for why a remake is made in the first place: you do it to capitalize on an existing fan base that, for whatever faults you may think it had, still loves the original. Why would anyone care for a live action adaptation of Snow White (which, like many of the live action remakes, nobody was asking for…), from people who have open contempt for the original? At minimum you should be able to make the case as to why this property you're trying to make money off of has any value, but if your flagship messaging is that it was "weird" and needs to be fixed, you automatically lose the very audience you were hoping to attract.
She got paid *_MILLIONS_* to be Snow White and she complained about having to wear a dress. Most people would cut off one of their fingers for millions of dollars and she was complaining about wearing a dress. I've got zero sympathy for her.
And the sad case I can imagine there were beautiful white girls out there to give best performance for snow white. Zeigler is the least deserving person hired by disney coming from non white person. I won't feel any empathy when the company falls because they are obsessed with the woke message nobody wants.
I’ll be honest I never thought Brie was all that bad. She just seemed extremely uncomfortable around bigger stars and overcompensated. I’m not saying she seems like a fantastic person. But I can see the argument that she’s overhated as opposed to Ziegler who seems spoilt from the get go.
Narcissists cannot understand that they can be wrong. If you criticize them, you are the enemy. If you are nice to them, they're you best friend until you make a perceived slight. The best thing is to ignore them. Narcissists never change.
Exactly and please don’t hate me for making this observation, but I still feel like she still trying to defend Rachel because she still using the excuse of she was young and she says that she still believes that Disney coached her to sell that stuff no no no no no no all the nasty stuff that Rachel has said is saying and inevitably will say that’s all genuinely Rachel the only two things that I believe Disney told her to do that fake apology that she didn’t even write and that BS interview she did with Halle Bailey, which nobody’s buying.
Yeah, not a fan of Rachel. I don't get mad over it or anything. She's just unlikable and I move on. Nothing wrong with giving people the benefit of the doubt, but sometimes it just becomes too much. Jester, your videos and opinions are thoughtful and you have a good heart. Zegler made her own bed, and now she'll have to sleep in it.
That is a lesson everybody has to learn: if you try to be nice to the people nobody likes you often learn why nobody likes them. The strange thing is, everybody should love Rachel Zegler, because she is a good looking young woman who can act and sing realy well. But she is a horrible smug and arrogant person most people can't stand to listen to.
I was a kid that no one liked. When people would talk to me they expressed surprise that I was nice and that the rumors about me weren't true. Kids are just mean and I was weird, and i hung out with the wrong people i guess? Being ostracized gave me empathy and incentive to reach out to other unpopular people. This gave me great friends I still have today... and horrible trauma from people who were unpopular for a reason. One of them ended up my stalker. Sometimes, what you learn is just that the unpopular person is a political minority or weird. Other times they're a bad person. But I still believe we need to find out our own opinions of others alone.
@@arowace498 It is a little different when the person in question broadcasts herself on social with no awareness, no? One is depending on the opinion of others, the other is straight from the horse's mouth.
@RepressedObeseCat it doesn't matter if it's "his" Disney... you must be one of those that defend this narcissistic parasite... grow up! She should be kicked out of the industry by any chance!
@@ChienaAvtzon She was hired on Chapek's watch. Work on the remake started in 2016. I'm sure the direction of the script and nature of casting choices was set before Iger left the first time. I think the only movie Chapek approved for production on his watch was Deadpool 3.
@@RepressedObeseCat - Stop downplaying just how bad a CEO Chapek was. He greenlight “Snow White” for production and cast Rachel Zegler. Social Media has lifted the "veil of mystique" off of celebrities. Well, I guess it's no social media's fault. It's the fault of celebrities that are full of themselves and attention-hungry. I still do not think they have realized that they are shooting themselves in the foot.
That's what they had PR people for. It was to stop them from performing petulant and self destructive acts like this. Social media took that filter away and now for some reason some of them feel qualified to tell the rest of us what to think. I'm actually kind of glad that social media allows us to see these toxic and privileged people for who they truly are.
It was a two-way street actually. PR was taking care of their image (admittedly, more often than not impeding on personal liberty), but the whole construction of celebrities was intended to be remote, faraway and sorta unapproachable, representing an ideal away from the drabness of ordinary life for people. They might go crazy when Lana Turner appeared to spend a day in a low-income hairstylist's as a publicity stunt, but they never wanted Lana Turner to actually go there every day and spill her soul out to them. They didn't want celebrities to be like them, they wanted to see they were able to be like them. Social media made random people able to have a flamewar with Oscar winners and music legends, and then these people were going out attempting to play at being stars. You can't be a star when you've exchanged words on twitter with a professional troll. I'm not saying worshipping celebrities like demigods was good btw.But it was certainly more appropriate than celebrities expecting to be worshipped while doing nothing but showing around that they're petty, ignorant, little people, and that they look down on their fans (something that, ironically, whether through moderation or circumstance, very few celebrities of old Hollywood were accused of).
When it comes to movies, that has also happened now at the time when Hollywood lost its grip and has seemingly stopped hiring people based on their skills and merit and started hiring too many people based more on who they are, not how good they are at their professions, and the quality of the movies they make has tanked (it's not just their "activism" for certain ideologies and putting that in all the stories they make because you can, or could, make what is obnoxiously promoting something but is still an entertaining story, if you are good enough at telling stories). So audiences who still want to get good, entertaining movies are primed to hate everybody who seems like one of the examples as why they no longer get what they want.
I'm partially grateful and partially ungrateful. Grateful to know what I will not watch because of their attitude towards people, especially those who disagree. Ungrateful because it has given people an inflated sense of importance. Not everyone needs to hear your, often very intentionally divisive, opinion about everything. Especially when you're sharing them for brownie points and to sh!t on people.
That’s such a dumb argument. Like, “yeah this person is awful but at least they’re not as bad as this other person.” You can still find a person disgusting whilst acknowledging that there are much more evil people out there.
@@emhu2594 😂😂😂come on now!!! I believe she gets the correct amount of hate. Most everyone gets what they give in my life experience. Plus I’d say it’s a little crazy to feel bad for a person who’s said on several occasions she was born into privilege. Find someone that gets real hate for no reason and defend them. Don’t waste time on this 25 year old coddled millionaire. I’d gladly trade places with her and you could get on here everyday for the rest of my life and tell me I’m the worst. I’d say have at it. I’ll chill in my mansion and get waited on hand and foot.
I believe we'll be hearing more from Rachel Zegler, especially when Snow White bombs at the box office and she'll said something totally wrong on why the movie failed.
i can already hear it🙄 “audiences aren’t ready for an independent woman, we live in a misogynistic society, the election shows that people don’t want women to have rights”
She is 21 and is surrounded by questionable people every day and has likely been groomed into this way of acting and thinking, instead of typing this way maybe you should try talking to her instead
@Saishi-i4phumility doesn’t have an age limit. Actresses like Jenna Ortega and Iman Vellani probably have similar political views yet don’t come across as insufferable, entitled loons
I think miss Zegler is the one who should be embarrassed here, tbh. Your commitment to being a decent person even when it comes at personal cost is such a stark contrast to Rachel's bratty attitude, that it makes her look that much worse.
As a subscriber of yours, it honestly makes me wonder what you saw that warranted a second chance for her. The original snow white is all-time classic that I grew up watching and loving. The moment she made her insufferably smug comments about the original was it for me. Nothing she said past that could redeem her.
It all started when she was cast in the titular role in Disney's Snow White. Obviously, any Disney movie is high profile, so the spotlight was on her and has been ever since. Then her 2022 interviews were reposted on TH-cam, and that started a firestorm. The latest controversy came in the form of a four page rant on Instagram where she openly stated she hopes that a certain Presidential candidate, plus those who voted for him and support him (whoops, spoiler alert) "never know peace." There are many other controversial things she has said and done, but the whole F**k Donald Trump thing was the match that lit the powder keg. The end result is she has received a boatload of negative publicity.
I would love to know what happened with that. I don’t believe that she just wanted to leave. It seems to abrupt. But this is just my opinion obviously.
I just think we shouldn’t throw around the word “narcissistic” around. It’s counterproductive as it makes it meaningless when we address people that really do have that personality disorder. She could have behavioral problems without being narcissistic.
I find it interesting on how Gadot gets a pass in all of this. "She's not going to be saved by the Prince" came out of Gadot's mouth and was echoed by Zegler. Gadot was right there supporting this crap. Some people try to excuse her by saying she was just acting like she was happy with all this and was "being professional" Bullsh*t. Gadot just doesn't have the talent to act that believably, so the excuse falls flat. Is this a pretty privilege thing? Or is it a case where you have a villain, you need a good guy to balance it out? I'm leaning towards pretty privilege. I thought it was funny when Zegler said "We wrote a story....". I highly doubt Zegler or Gadot had anything to do with writing the story. They were given a script. They probably got to make a change in dialogue here and there, but that's about it.
Id say other than that remark Gadot had the sense to stay quiet while zegler chronically drew attention to herself. The real cretin getting a free pass is Peter dinklage
It's also positivity privilege? Like, Gal Gadot doesn't remotely exude the same energy as Rachel Zegler. She's vapid, moderately talented and pretty deep in the Hollywood mindset, but she's not toxic at all. Rachel acts like acting in Snow White was a burden to her and a gift to the masses, that was principally what got people salty with her, because many celebrities spew such nonsense about their movies, yet they don't invoke such visceral reaction.
IMO, Gadot was trying to help. Zegler was clearly hurtling towards more extreme claims, and Gadot tried to save it with "She's not going to be saved by the prince" -- a much smaller claim which is also true of, e.g., Tangled and The Little Mermaid. To me, Gadot's delivery sounds like she's explaining Zegler's meaning to the reporter, though in fact she's diluting it. Zegler was too self-centered to notice and grab the lifeline, though, and just kept ranting narcissistically. Zegler later sided with Palestine in the current conflict, so Gadot may be done with trying to help her.
If you feel apologetic, remorseful for your actions and are sincere about it, then people forgive. The problem with Zegler is she has no remorse. Or empathy. People with soft hearts are never to be blamed, or made fun of, or used. ❤
Rachel Zegler should stick to theater. They let Divas diva there. As a famous philosopher once said, "Fool me one, shame on you. Fool me twice, can't fool me again."
@@kostantza1 I think the Diva is part of the Broadway brand. It doesn't travel well beyond that, however. Cynthia Erivo learned that lesson when she threw a snit over the altered poster for Wicked.
It's over, we the internet after repeated attempts at mercy and understanding today Cancel Rachel Zegler for the crime of being cringe and crazy and crappy as a person.
But she was terrible in her West Side Story interviews as well! 😅 the whole "Do you speak the language? Does it matter?" thing is preposterous because YES it matters! At least her actual Latina costar put her in her place with the "word vomit" comment 😂 but yeah, Rachel has been acting like a dumb spoiled brat for a long time now..
Same with Selena Gomez! Representation is important and that includes SPANISH SPEAKING latinas. I dont get why they think its a small little thing that doesn't matter and other people are overreacting
I kinda like how your hair is styled today. Chin up. It’s always nice to give people another chance. And sometimes it works out. And sometimes it doesn’t. That’s life unfortunately.
As someone who met her irl …. She’s alright but not “nice” she gives off theatre kid woe is me and “tries” to relate her “suffering” with others about 6 times in a conversation with a group I was a part of she interrupted someone else telling how they felt to say her story and how terrible her experience was I was appalled that she kept doing it like it was a competition for who had it worse all the people from the conservative side of the media spectrum had it right calling her insufferable and it hurts to say it I’m eating crow. I personally would not choose to spend any amount of time in hearing range to someone delusional and mean spirited I’m 26 she’s only a few years younger than me it’s not cute how she acts and cries and apologies and says she’ll do better anytime someone calls her out only to continue with her performative acts it’s fake.
most of the people in Hollywood live in a bubble where they are only surrounded by people who feel just like them so they aren't used to having any push back and when they do get it double down because everyone around them reinforces the idea that its everybody else who is wrong because everyone around them needs them to be successful to get their chunk in some ways im sympathetic to the reality that these people go through where they are gaslit by everyone around them and cant see it because of their ego
11:14 People will change their behavior if they want to change. It doesn't make sense to constantly give someone "chances" when they aren't even trying to (or worse, outright refuse to) improve themselves. You're just enabling them at that point. I totally agree that the internet ramps things up to hyperbolic levels, but that doesn't change the reality that Rachel is unlikeable as a result of her continued behavior and outlook on her own celebrity. Social media backlash aside, I'm glad that she makes it obvious. Better that than the other kind of awful people who do terrible things for years until it comes out as a scandal.
It's probably difficult to put yourself on a stage. She might have been fed messaging about female empowerment that made her pronoid. A stage actor would be exposed to their audience. If the audience didn't show up or left looking bored, that would be a blow. But a tv or film actor or musician has the option of being hated by hundreds of people, then thousands of people and then millions. With youtubers, I advise them to never read the comments. It'll drive them mad. Similarly, if you're a young actress, you have the conundrum of what to do if the feedback is "oh, you're so wonderful". The danger is letting it go to your head. Or if the feedback is "dear god, please never act again", then they have the issue of taking it to heart or having an emotional need to reject it. With Ziegler, you wonder how she became like she is. You wonder if she's some kind of accident of excessive self-esteem. But I think the solution would be for her to surround herself with people who can be honest with her (from a position of wanting her to be a good person), whether that's dialling down the hatred (but extracting constructive criticism) or muting the praise. A negative outcome would be if she seeks advise from other celebrities who are high on their own supply. If you were a celebrity and loudly asked 'how do you make peace with the criticism?', one of the responses might be DIddy saying 'Well, I like to throw parties'.
@@victorcates9330 this is pretty much what I came here to say; there's no way that article gets written if she had a publicist with a modicum of understanding about how she's actually being viewed. At least a young actor lacking self-awareness can be understood, but that's where PR people are supposed to step in.
That doesn't explain away her wishing over half the country would "never know peace" after the election or blatant disrespect to her costars or how she went after Gina Carano and Jeremy Renner
I trained in acting, and I’ve concluded that all actors have to be somewhat narcissistic, so I think that’s a moot point. If she were a man, it wouldn’t have mattered. She comes across poorly, but has she actually done anything wrong? Said anything terrible? Hating someone for the tone of voice they have (when they might not have much control of it) seems very odd to me.
Honestly. She is an actress with some talent, Mr Spielberg saw it and gave her an introduction to Stardom. Then she felt above her station and started opening her mouth, not understanding that she is an actress, not an world leader who's words matter. As you say, she was just chiming in on whatever seemed trending at the time, such as opening her mouth during the writers strike; She is not an writer!?. I am sorry for her that this persons movie career, is basically done at this point. She could have been an Hollywood Star, all she had to do was keep her stupid mouth shut.
Rachel Zegler is truly a person in Hollywood I will never forgive XD no matter who you are, what your gender is, what you identify as, etc, I will never like people like her who CLEARLY think of themselves as SO important and making a BIG change when in reality they're just acting in a movie 😭 she is so in your face about things that it's unnecessary XD
Ezra Miller is the real life version of A-Train from The Boys. Not the tv show version but the comic book version. The tv show A-Train has a redemption and a much better development.
She's probably not that highly compensated. She's had a handful of roles. I think when Brie Larson got cast as Captain Marvel, I think her salary was a few million - but Brie was an oscar winner with years of being highly regarded (before it started to go to her head). So you'd assume Ziegler is on less. Some of that would be eaten up by her agent and having a celebrity lifestyle. Her career is nascent. Some of the hate is likely a result of the press white knighting for her. With Y2K, a publication that gave that film a negative review described Zielger as a 'charm factory'. If people are telling you she's wonderful, that creates an urgency to pushing back. If people were presented with someone as a struggling actor and understood to be unpleasant, they wouldn't have the same drive to put the person in their place. Her roles selection has been largely musical. But it's scattered. Westside story was more classical. The Hunger Games thing appeals to young women (and only young women). Spellbound was.... just why? Then you get into non musical roles. Y2K was low budget with a first time director. Shazam 2 was... just a job. If you're established you likely have a particular type of character or genre of film. Y2K isn't something you'd sign onto if you had better offers. And that would mean that some of her roles might be highly mercenary. She's there for the money. She doesn't love the property or whatever. But being a celebrity means that people hate you waaaay more than say going to a story and engaging with a supermarket clerk who seems like a bit of a tool. To me, that lowers the temperature a bit. If she's just a person, then she's the same substance as me. I make mistakes despite knowing better. If I hope to get my act together and find an ounce of grace, then I would hope for her to do the same. Backlash would be difficult. The options would be to believe it and feel tiny. Or reject it to protect oneself and embrace yourself as perfect. If this is what celebrities turns her into, then she might consider the possibility that it would be better to do something else. Or get honest feedback from someone. If 1,000,000 people hate you, you could get a friend to sum up the issue while remaining compassionate. I think there has to be a middle ground between emotional exposure and needing to see yourself as infallible. It's easier to take off your armor if you're not under a barrage of arrows.
I'm not against second chances and I like that you wanted to give her one, but you forgot that people have to ask for a second chance, which means that they understand they need one. Zegler's fatal flaw is not her personality, but that she doesn't know what to say and what not to say in puplic. I don't think we should feel bad for her either, because she was granted a big chance and blew it. If you don't have what is needed in such a privileged position, you have no right to be there.
She's probably had a privileged upbringing, as well as a ton of success at such a young age. When these things happen, you often see someone like Zegler develop a massive ego and an inflated sense of worth. Everyone needs to be humbled now and then. She has yet to experience that, so she's not gonna change on her own.
Narcisstic personality disorder- nothing can be done about that unfortunately. And than actually pretty sad, because Rachel had everything to become great performer
Even though The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes is the only movie I like from Rachel Zegler, I decided that I’m not seeing anything that has Rachel Zegler in them the same way I did with Ezra Miller since he is indeed the real life version of A-Train from The Boys (not the tv show version but the comic book version because the tv show A-Train has a redemption). I’m officially boycotting the new Disney’s live action remake of Snow White.
I remember how she kept saying “we wrote a story..” “we didn’t do that this time,” like honey… you’re a 21 year old brand new actress who barely anyone knows. You literally don’t have the experience in professional and a personal sense, to be out there berating classic movies and folklore. No one is asking for a 21 or 2 year old upper middle class girl to be “correcting” cultural art… she carries herself with a smug condescension that is detestable to most normal people, because it’s obvious that her attitude is based on nothing but maybe the fans in her personal TH-cam channel…. Which we keep learning that doesn’t reflect the majority of opinions by any means… I personally believe she has been like this for her entire life, and likely was made to believe that she was smarter, more talented, and more beautiful than she actually was. She has major Elizabeth Holmes vibes with me. I too am a Latino guy who grew up in the upper middle class. And I’m older than she is, and I can barely point to anything more than a few mean comments at school as the extent of the “racism” I’ve ever faced… so when I see her waving that flag around, it’s annoying, because as a brown kid growing up in the 90’s, if I didn’t really didn’t experience racism that in any way hindered me, I have a hard time believing that the girl who was once written about as “the next It girl,” and hired on for movie rolls, is somehow experiencing real adversity as a mixed race actress… I totally understand wanting to give her grace for her age and general inexperience, but I guess sometimes, people have a point when they’re just sick of some people’s behavior….
We've seen a lot of new comers enter the business, most gradually work their way up from small parts to bigger and better things, few get thrown into the deep end and become part of these big movies and some have thrived especially some child actors just starting out. She has been part of some pretty big movies and has yet to really establish herself and thrived yet she acts like she's a veteran actress, yes there are celebrities who share their opinions on everything, but at least they've been around for years and proven themselves and are authentic about what they believe, she's just acting like an established person never revealing herself and we see that we see her trying too hard and coming off as fake, in the end she will become a cautionary tale to new comers and a prime example of how not to behave when you're still trying to prove yourself.
The comment about Andrew Burnap was enough proof for me that she is annoying. Imagine your coworker casually saying you could get cut from the project. Very rude and unprofessional. Was the hate overblown? Imo yes. But is she unlikable? Absolutely

It's so bizarre that a mediocre actress like Zegler got multiple offers from different projects in Hollywood yet most A-listers can't even get a role. Weird, weird! 🤪
Nah, I get it. I remember first seeing trailers for West Side Story, and I was excited for her. She’s gorgeous, has an incredible voice, and an actress that wasn’t the usual 12 that Hollywood clings to? I wanted to like her. Unfortunately, she’s burned too many bridges. Hopefully this comment will age poorly
What Zegler needs to learn. It's not sexist to call someone out for bad behavior just because they're a woman. It's sexist to NOT call someone out for bad behavior because they're a woman.
Never need to apologize for being someone who sees things differently you got tricked by her it's okay she needs to understand that people defend her but she never wants people to defend her because she keeps insulting people😂😂😂😂😂
Yes, we have all said something we shouldn't say in our 20s...but there's a huge difference between us average joes, and a literal celebrity who gets paid probably more in one casting than we make in 5 years.
I wouldn't be surprised if they have the shortest press run in history for this movie. The less they can have her talk in front of a camera the better tbh
I didn’t like her the moment she trashed Snow White, Snow White was what made Disney a household name, it was a groundbreaking technical achievement and ahead of its time. It was also one of the earliest animated films in color. But she’s a product of modern woke ideology and it shows, trashing Snow White and the brothers Grimm for seemingly no reason, if she even read the original story by the brothers Grimm, or if she even knows who they are. But no it’s “eww the prince is a stalker, woke politics in entertainment, 🤪 I’m not an idiot”. She needs to just get lost.
For a lousy actress who has been in one bomb of a movie and soon to be in one of the biggest fails in cinematic history, Zegler is rather smug and entitled.
I really don’t understand why she offends people so much. She just needs media training, seems like she’s trying to be funny but not landing the joke. We don’t know anything about her & I think the speculations are too much.
I think a lot of it is also people’s misplaced angst against towards Disney, but she undeniably has a problem where 100% of the time she gets in front of a camera, she makes a verbal faux-pas. This video doesn’t get into all of it, like suggesting that her male co-worker’s scenes could (and implicitly should) all be cut. Media and PR training will save her career. If she doesn’t choose to get any, I don’t see her abrasiveness taking her much further.
I agree that she needs media training, but she never does, instead keeps putting her foot in her mouth, and people react accordingly. We may not know her personally, but these public statements are what give the audience a window into her personality, and what she's telling us is turning people away.
I saw a clip of an interview about Y2K where she was asked something like what was Y2K and Rachel goes on about the fashion of the era. “That’s a Y2K outfit” like seriously? Did she do any research into this? Didn’t the director tell the cast the history of it. It was only 24 years ago.
People are *defending* her?? Wow. Hey, *you* were trying to be nice. Which appears to be more than she ever has been, so that's good on you. You tried.
There's a big difference between giving someone a break, letting them learn, and giving them armor to keep making the same mistakes. The studios wanted her to be the next best thing, running with her fairly good success in West Side Story. Thus, when she whined about being 'bullied' on the internet, they got her 'puff pieces'. She never learned to say what the studios want her to say, to 'play the game'. She felt unbreakable. If the studios bail out on her before she causes more expensive damage, then she should remember her own words: that's Hollywood, baby!
You left out the fact that she thinks more than half The country should know "no peace" for the next 4 years.Just because they don't agree with her politically. She's absolutely bonkers.
You should never laugh at someone who actually LEARNS from their mistakes, so we forgive you, Jester. Zegler doesnt learn however, so laugh laugh laugh away! 😄😄😄
Agreed. The fact she made this video proves she's a better person.
I don't blame her I've tried to defend her too only for her to say something stupid again I gave up after the snow white interview.
But did she

@@Leamichellefan2244 I agree. Some people get TOO many undeserved chances. Disney gave her too many chances, but sent Gina Carano to the void, because she politely didn't follow the crazy pronoun trend, and for factually reciting holocaust info...while, Pedro Pascal, and Mark Ruffulo make crazy politically charged posts, and STILL have multi-million dollar jobs....It's totally garbage. Thankfully Gina is suing Disney and the case is still ongoing, hopefully she wins.
The queens the one who stalks her in the original movie. The prince only appears briefly at the start and end of the movie. 💀
Which only exposed her as someone who DIDN'T EVEN KNOW THE STORY SHE WAS ADAPTING and only spewed discourse.
Maybe she watched the wrong snow white movie lol
Internet kept calling the prince a stalker or creep when his only role is to be Snow's teen bf and savior 😭 give this poor man a break
Yeah but he didn't call or text first, he just showed up at her balcony, that's pretty stalkerish
And said she didn't even like the original snow

She was not forced to wear a dress. She chose to audition for a role that requires a dress. She is not a victim. 🤣
Since when has weatinv or mot wearing a dress been an indicator of a strong woman? Lots of strong women wear dresses!

Brie Larson must be relieved to know she's no longer the #1 most hated narcissist in Hollywood
That is a good one hahahaa
That's probably because she's no longer in the limelight. If she was still doing movies, she'd be saying stupid shit.
watch her defend Rachel when the movie is released
I’ll be honest I never thought Brie was all that bad. She just seemed extremely uncomfortable around bigger stars and overcompensated. I’m not saying she seems like a fantastic person. But I can see the argument that she’s overhated as opposed to Ziegler who seems spoilt from the get go.
Cynthia Erivo is comin in hot!
Narcissists cannot understand that they can be wrong. If you criticize them, you are the enemy. If you are nice to them, they're you best friend until you make a perceived slight. The best thing is to ignore them. Narcissists never change.
You gave her too many chances. She is just so insufferably smug.
I agree but at least she learned and knows now 😊

Yeah, not a fan of Rachel. I don't get mad over it or anything. She's just unlikable and I move on. Nothing wrong with giving people the benefit of the doubt, but sometimes it just becomes too much. Just give her time. OnlyFans is her next stop!
You mean to tell me a person who's been acting unpleasant all the time is actually unpleasant? Weird. Weird.
It’s ok we forgive you
But better not do it again lol

I love how You said she's not p diddy That's not a very high bar lol
That’s such a dumb argument. Like, “yeah this person is awful but at least they’re not as bad as this other person.” You can still find a person disgusting whilst acknowledging that there are much more evil people out there.

Why do people even care about some random actress like Rachel Zegler? There are so many other things to spend time on lmao
Because entertainment bleeds into culture and culture bleeds into entertainment.
Speaking of Snow White, I wonder what’s going to happen to Daily Wire’s version now that Brett Cooper has left the company.

Would it be fair to say that she has an issue with hubris?
EXACTLY!
Gal doesn't say stupid shit.
All celebrities are annoying, some more than others. The best thing a celebrity can do is keep their mouth shut let their talent speak for itself.
Zegler created her own Dilemma that might have caused the Snow White Love Action to flop
I think it's always destined to flop, it's a very unfaithful live action remake of a beloved film, starring Gal Gadot, plenty of red flags already

@Dru2037 My first tour in Iraq started when I was 18. Our culture coddling grown adults is why we have people living with their parents in their 30s.

Remember, they refused to let Ezra Miller do a press tour for the Flash.
Ezra Miller is the real life version of A-Train from The Boys. Not the tv show version but the comic book version. The tv show A-Train has a redemption and a much better development.
Ezra Miller was in actual legal hot water after committing a crime.
6:54 Jacob Elordi was homeless until he got the role in euphoria. What's her excuse
Imagine Ariana Grande Cynthia Erivo and Rachel Zegler in a interview together. How insufferable would that be
Add in ezra Miller. Lol
No mention of her controversial election posts?
I think Jester wants to keep political discourse out of it.
Which we keep learning that doesn’t reflect the majority of opinions by any means…
I personally believe she has been like this for her entire life, and likely was made to believe that she was smarter, more talented, and more beautiful than she actually was. She has major Elizabeth Holmes vibes with me. I too am a Latino guy who grew up in the upper middle class. And I’m older than she is, and I can barely point to anything more than a few mean comments at school as the extent of the “racism” I’ve ever faced… so when I see her waving that flag around, it’s annoying, because as a brown kid growing up in the 90’s, if I didn’t really didn’t experience racism that in any way hindered me, I have a hard time believing that the girl who was once written about as “the next It girl,” and hired on for movie rolls, is somehow experiencing real adversity as a mixed race actress…
I totally understand wanting to give her grace for her age and general inexperience, but I guess sometimes, people have a point when they’re just sick of some people’s behavior….
I'm gonna paraphrase Bronn from GOT.
"There's no cure for being an asshole"
💯💯💯💯
I dont know if she is that bad. But she do talks a lot. To not say much. If you want to attack Snow White at least get you point ready and prepared
The comment about Andrew Burnap was enough proof for me that she is annoying. Imagine your coworker casually saying you could get cut from the project. Very rude and unprofessional.
Was the hate overblown? Imo yes. But is she unlikable? Absolutely
Just found your channel, i am always on the look out for what i view as "normal" people who do long form content. looking forward to the rest of your content. We are not always correct and we all make mistakes, it is important to learn from our mistakes to make improvements.
How come Gal Gadot keeps getting away with this co-signing as well???
IKR!? Shes equally at fault as well, not just Zegler.
She's still way over-hated. There's plenty of her male colleagues who flaunt even bigger egos and are celebrated for it.
It's so bizarre that a mediocre actress like Zegler got multiple offers from different projects in Hollywood yet most A-listers can't even get a role. Weird, weird! 🤪
She doesn't make her bed and lie on it. She breaks into the dwarves' house and lies on 3 of their beds.

Her “weird WEEEERD” interview was the first I ever heard of her and I automatically knew she was a huge narcissistic man hater
In zeglers defense!!
Yeah I got nothing..
😂
Nah, I get it. I remember first seeing trailers for West Side Story, and I was excited for her. She’s gorgeous, has an incredible voice, and an actress that wasn’t the usual 12 that Hollywood clings to? I wanted to like her. Unfortunately, she’s burned too many bridges. Hopefully this comment will age poorly
What Zegler needs to learn. It's not sexist to call someone out for bad behavior just because they're a woman. It's sexist to NOT call someone out for bad behavior because they're a woman.
Never need to apologize for being someone who sees things differently you got tricked by her it's okay she needs to understand that people defend her but she never wants people to defend her because she keeps insulting people😂😂😂😂😂
Yeah she’s famous alright, in her own head
Rachel's headstone will someday read:
"Rachel 'weird weird' Zegler"
2001- 20??
"May You Never Know Peace"
She’s made a career off being the ingenue archetype in her movies, yet she’s the opposite of an ingenue in real life? How?! How did this happen?!?!
An actor play a role. They aren't meant to be like their character in real life
Enabling a toxic person never helps unfortunately
Soooo….. Rachel Zegler is the new Lea Michele? GOT IT.
idk, I find her funny in those clips
You didn’t acknowledge her saying what she said about trump supporters.
For a lousy actress who has been in one bomb of a movie and soon to be in one of the biggest fails in cinematic history, Zegler is rather smug and entitled.
So what.
We may not know her personally, but these public statements are what give the audience a window into her personality, and what she's telling us is turning people away.

you're cool, underrated queen
And then she says in the trailer that "people need some kindness " 😆
No that one’s fine. Maybe don’t break the law and betray the constitution
