If you find it difficult to yield to God and be disciplined with your time it may be due to lonliness, as it was for me. But you have to give your lonliness to God. And then He will make life more bearable or enjoyable, but moreover, you will learn things like forgiveness, which are naturally fulfilling and by far more powerful. You have to trust God with your pain and endure it, not finding a temporary way out with sin. After a little time God will answer you as He did for me. Im 35 and finally realized this after probably 20 years of not answering God's call to trust Him with my pain.
