Just bought: 1 x old stock Soundtracs Topaz Project 8 (inline, 24ch, 8 groups) in NEW unused condition from a hobbyist, to use as my main analog inline mixer, AND a Tascam DM3200 with 2seemy and Firewire interface boards (same history, taken from another hobbyist), as my outboard effects submixer, DAW control, and some extra DAs to go to the Topaz.... costed 650 each,. Incredibly cheap for such a powerful setup... both pieces are the best bang for the buck functionality and soundwise out there - and even more at such a price. And their combination is, well... :)
with the Tascam I even got a monitor and an articulated stand for it!

It really sucks that Tascam put such a poor screen on such a great Desk. I have went through three of these boards and all of them had screen failure. Last one is up for sale.
With so much strive I bought this 2seemy product all the way from india from france i guess.. What a hopeless lcd in this console.

Não sei dizer se ele ainda usa essa conta, uma vez que minha compra foi realizada no começo de 2016.... espero que consiga solucionar seu problema, essa mesa é bem legal, e o problema do LCD é relacionado a baixa qualidade da peça em questão e o mal posicionamento de alguns componentes, que provoca o aquecimento dela, acelerando este problema problema. A tela deu pau sim, da pra trocar tranquilo, mas não vale a pena, além de caro essas telas são de baixa qualidadr, dão pau direto.

Thank you for sharing your time and experience with us. I am considering the purchase of a used DM-3200. Any advice. Am I doing the right thing?
With the exception of the low quality screen with a tendency to fail I consider it a great option in the price range if you need many channels at your disposal. The preamps are cool, very neutral, which is great, it's better a preamp that sounds neutral than one pulling your sound down. The fact of being able to use as a DAW controller is also a plus point in favor. Initially it may seem complicated to operate, but the manual is very clear, with it on the side and dedication quickly you get the hang of it. It also has the "Wow factor", it is very likely that your customers will be impressed with the presence of a DM3200 / 4800 in your studio!
Currently I'm not with mine anymore, I'm working with a totally analog console (Soundcraft Vienna II), but if I have to go back to a digital mixer it would probably be my first choice just for the reasons mentioned above.
Thank you so much for the prompt reply and your valuable input. What would you consider a fair price for a very clean DM-3200 whose display has already been replaced. Comes with road case, Firewire IF-FW/DMMKII, and IF-AD/DM ADAT expansion card. Ballpark?
From what I can see, I believe that something between $1700 ~ 2100 is a fair value. The Firewire IF-FW / DMMKII card is indispensable, not easy to find and I've seen it being sold for a considerable amount.
This sucks if you have a dm3200 and are already using both slots :/
