- Grégoire de Fournas, a French far-right lawmaker from the National Rally party, caused an uproar in parliament on Thursday when he shouted 'Go back to Africa!' during a question by the left-wing parliamentarian Carlos Martens Bilongo.

Bilongo, who is black, was speaking about the refugee crisis, imploring lawmakers to take urgent action to help African migrants. Fournas's interjection caused chaos in the chamber, with MPs shouting 'get out' before the house speaker, Yaël Braun-Pivet, temporarily suspended the session.

@@KolyaUrtz By "waking", you mean turning back to our old, racist, tribal history? The reason that viewpoint is 'sleeping', is because it got put to bed...

He was so smooth with that “Not at all” 😭

Is multiculturalism working?
No
boo hoo
What did he say wrong?
He just voices the French people's opinion
Great work in manipulating news like in France ... He didn't say that to him, but to the subject about welcoming refugees boats. Even the MP speaking at that time understands it and says "no no" and was about to resume his speech till the others MP start to shout "out". The MP was sanctionned not for racism, because he was referring to the boat, but for creating uproar in the parliament.
Everyone knew that, they were protesting exactly those type of blatantly racist solutions in dealing with (refugees) problems
I think he speaks about immigrants and not about the person talking. We can't hear the beggining of what he says and that's why it's confusing
Yes
why on earth would you risk those conditions just to go to france of all places

The deputy was talking about a boat of migrants not the other black deputy currently talking. People here really need to do some basic research before talking.

he said what were all thinking in every country in europe, sooner or later you have to go back.
If they were born and raised here, how is anything they themselves have done, thought, or said any different from someone who's roots go back thousands of generations aside from they're genes?
@@Optimistic_future it is very possible and French, of all people, know that very well. Besides, there are other measures that can be taken if the peaceful ones won't be fruitful.
