Something I’ve done with my rigid heddle loom is to wind the warp forward and then lash on to the back. I know exactly what you mean about a short warp. I haven’t tried it myself yet but I think I will give it a go.

I'd definitely be interested in something about rosepath, I made a couple krokbragd samplers on rigid heddle, and I think I know how to do it on 4 shaft counterbalance, but I don't speak anything other than English so I can only scratch the surface of it all!
